Unbiased article, though a bit lean on detail.  Still good though. He asks for comments so some may want to head over and share some love.

Is there a way to post a comment without a facebook account? Cause I never have and never will make a facebook account.

I think it was intended to be one because it was Buzz Aldrin voicing the Grandfather.
But ot me it was more like a slap in the Face.

I loved that last scene personally.. you only get it if you do a ME3+ game (two playthroughs) or import an ME1/2 Character from what I understand.

Buzz is amazing, I loved him in Transformers too :D

Why a MP DLC anyways? I thought there is already a MP function in ME3?
Never played it though..

No idea, but it would make as much sense as that horrid ending.

Argh, this thread moves fast!

Regarding the onslaught of Brutes and Banshees, in the end I just made a storm run for the Missile controls and prayed for cut scene intervention. HOORAY FOR CUT SCENES.

That's what I did!
After I died about 5 times.
I've no problems with Brutes.
But Banshees? Oh, do I have problems with them.

Buzz Aldrin is amazing. But his scene is abysmal. It really needs to be taken out of the game.

i'm currently writing on the feedback letter. and damn, i think i already managed two completely unimportant sentences in more than half an hour. i think i deserve another beer.

About that, they said email would work as well but it won't exactly arrive close together with the other mail. Is it worth writing an email?

oh, don't ask me. :/ didn't pay much attention, but the info should be on the fb site. anyone got any insight?
i just feel better writing a letter myself. (if i manage to ignore the cramps in my hand...)

More likely suplemented by a proper ending.. in a proper setting it would be amazing.

My brother who's only played ME, watched the ending of ME3 with me. I just showed him this pic, and he was like "Someone should find who ever wrote that ending and do that to them."
I was like  ."I think we're doing just fine without violence."

Him: "I wasn't serious.....or was I?"

Me: "Are you indoctrinated??"

Him:"Assuming Control." and he then left my room.

.....my brother is wierd

MP DLC is easier/faster to make, and having DLC out soon after release is supposed to keep an audience playing. You don't need a writing team or many voice actors. Same reason we got all those weapon packs in ME2 before the big DLC quests showed up.

Penny Arcade posted some more on the Mass Effect 3 ending. It was kinda confusing, but looks like Tycho likes the indoctrination theory and also kinda dissagrees with Gabe about the "THIS IS ART, WE CAN'T CHANGE IT".

Can be taken anyway but worth the read: penny-arcade.com/2012/03/16/the-delicious-invasion

I think they're planning to add additional maps and maybe a couple of characters into the existing multiplayer. Which, honestly, makes no difference to those of us who ignored that function thinking that playing the MP really wasn't necessary to get a "better" ending in the single player.

I guess that's just one more thing about this game that wasn't represented correctly.

Everyone keep this up. Do not allow them to simply wait "until things die down".

You would think this wouldn't even be a desire of theirs... I mean, if things die down, that's saying that once loyal BioWare / ME fans have bitterly moved on with their lives. It would make more sense to "strike while the iron is hot" and attempt to restore faith in the very people that want nothing more than to think BioWare will come through for them. This isn't like DA2 where there's nothing that can be done, the game is what it is, no amount of DLC is going to change that. This is a situation that can be fixed. The silence approach simply doesn't make sense... and yet...

Here we are. Still.

I think what many assume about us is that we want Bioware to go down or get crushed but really we just don't want them to let one of the best series of games be near utterly crushed because of its ending.

We wanted an epic conclusion.. not epic speculation and theories.

The advance of the line may slow, but we'll never falter and we'll never fall back. Hold the line!

Hello all. I am also one of those who was reading these forums for years, but never commented. ME3 was my most awaited game ever, and I know of games, I have around 350 original titles. My mother said to me I act like a child, and I am 42, just because I took days off for playing, and finished it right away almost without sleeping. I very much liked the game, it was very touching...until the end. Well, it's not a surprise, I hated it- otherwise would not post here. I read you since page 300 or so...as I see no reaction from BW I thought here I come to strengthen the moral:)
Hungarian fleet, reporting! ( sry for my English...)
Btw, i came across this, interesting fortune teller writers there...

Well, we can agree to disagree. I think it's poorly written, especially for Dr. (yes, doctor) Aldrin. He's a hard-as-nails fighter pilot who punched out someone who claimed he never went to the moon. "My sweet" is not something I would ever expect him to say.

I'll admit I don't know much of the Tycho guy.. I usually see Gabe in the news, mind you I think Gabe prefers it that way just from the quotes I've seen haha :P  Truth be told I don't follow PA enough to really make a judgement either way on the Tycho gentleman.

My take on it was that he likes the idea of this many people uniting together to force a developer to live up to its own standard of excellence and really likes the idea of a community inspired and crafted, even partially, ending.

I gotta admit I completely agree with him on that :)

.. I also enjoyed his take on the ending that was set in stone when it came out, and now is a bit more mooshy pliable hahaha.
