Omigaw
I choked up a little bit. And then I pointed because the Femshep dialogues weren't included. Then I choked up again because it was so freaking beautiful. All my love for that eyepatch, tbh.
Come oooon, Bioware, this isn't even that haaaard.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

As dissapointed as I contine to be over this a week or so later, I have to admit this whole event will be something I will remember for a long time, as it stands now, i've never spent a week considering a game ending like this. (32 yrs old been gaming since around 4yrs old lol)
Now if this ending was us being indoctrinated (looking back i certainly was), and a DLC/patch comes out finishing the story up from the "breath" scene?
Then all bets are off, my mind would be blown and this would go down (for me) the greatest gaming stunt and moment of all time.
Personally, though I think EA wanted this out asap, and all the reasons that go along with that = the ending we got.
I agree completely, I usually avoid forums like the plague to be honest, but I've been F5ing constantly since Monday. It truly is a testament to the quality of the rest of the series that a terrible ending could cause such a feeling of emptiness and horror in me as to make me take such an active part in this issue.
I usually come on forums but I never stay for long, I would much rather be playing ME3 again, and again and again...but it's not possible. When I think about playing any of them again I feel distraught that none of it matter so what's the point in replaying it?

If you go by both rumors; MP DLC comes first more maps and weapons; then in April or May the single player DLC The Truth is supposed to come out.
again rumors from 4chan; but its from the same person that leaked about the mp dlc and has been confirmed in around about way.......
I'll keep posting my theory...........the ending is a cliffhanger; shepard's fighting indoctrination.........and best part is; BW indoctrinated us.....they were hoping that people would polize over the ending and then they'd bring out real endings....
What's happened is something they didn't expect; 70-80% of the people just down right hating the endings......
That's why there's all the cryptic messages on twitter; and BW waiting until the game is completely out and people have beaten it. If they announced before that; sales would tank even more than they are starting too.
What they are tryiing to pull off is insane and brillant; but runs so dangerously into becoming out of hand and PR nightmare.....
But that is my theory......its what my gut tells me.....I'm almost never wrong when this happens.
Mate, I sincerely hope you're not wrong. If you are then you're gonna have to get yourself a new gut I'm afraid.
'The Truth' DLC is nothing more than an unsubstuated rumour thus far - the 'image' posted to support it is little more that the images from a MP DLC that is due to come out with some writing photoshopped onto it.
We do know that BW intends or intended to make some announcement at PAX on 6th April, but not what that statement pertains to. Bioware's only statement about the 'Truth' DLC was 'do you really think we'd call a DLC that?'.
None of this proves anything. The Bioware statement doesn't indicate that such a DLC doesn't exist, or if you read closely that it isn't called 'The Truth'. But it doesn't confirm that it exists either.
You could make arguments that this 'leak' is simply someone with a bad sense of humour, and possibly a deathwish. But then you could also argue that BW decided to leak the information in the hopes that it would reassure customers before they started turning up on their front door with a Claymore shotgun on one hand and a copy of the game in the other.
In the end if there is such a DLC I really wouldn't expect Bioware to remain quiet about it for much longer. Certainly I wouldn't expect them to remain quiet until April 6th given the existing storm. If it does exist I'd expect Bioware to issue a statement to that effect sooner rather than later, even if the DLC isn't finished yet, in the hopes that the storm will disipate before it wrecks sales too much.

We need a target. And target is PAX. Everything beyond doesn't matter. We might win earlier anyway.
And expect some space magic

Exactly that MeldarthX!
My gut feeling also tells me the same and if you think it through, you can only come to this conclusion. Neither BW or EA would shoot in their own foot and not try to keep the loyal fan base.
If indoctrinating the gamers is actually their intention it is a brilliant PR move, albeit very risky as we can see. They better come up with some statement soon.
That "Thruth" DLC, if that will be the name, won't be for free I am afraid.

Hello all. I am also one of those who was reading these forums for years, but never commented. ME3 was my most awaited game ever, and I know of games, I have around 350 original titles. My mother said to me I act like a child, and I am 42, just because I took days off for playing, and finished it right away almost without sleeping. I very much liked the game, it was very touching...until the end. Well, it's not a surprise, I hated it- otherwise would not post here. I read you since page 300 or so...as I see no reaction from BW I thought here I come to strengthen the moral:)

Mate, I sincerely hope you're not wrong. If you are then you're gonna have to get yourself a new gut I'm afraid.
I've learned to listen to my gut; every time I haven't something seriously bad has happened. My gut is telling me; with all the Circumstantial evidence that's out there. Tweets from ME3 - going maybe the guardian is lieing. Another one - I think we've been indoctrinated; answer back was; possibly; how do you know you've even tweeted us.
Person that played Liara - tweeted day or so........big hint; she was like I am loving all the love......ok; ok got to break; blue babies for everyone
BW making forums to listen; all the tweets we're listening. They are trying see if it actually polizes or not; its not......as I said; they are insanely genius trying to pull this off. Whether it works or backfires is how they handle it. More tweet that are discovered; more evidence comes in; this is what they are going to do.....if this isn't their exact plan. We'll hold the line until it is.........
I'm here for the long term. Took 10 years to get back Sherlock........6 months for Broken Steel......a few weeks is nothing; and friendships here that are forged.......is a worth a lifetime.
We are making history.......We WILL HOLD THE LINE!!!
