Dude, we're getting major news coverage all over the world.

If that isn't reassuring, I don't know what is.

Keep at it!

Checking in. Still holding the line and telling everyone I know.

Looking forward to sending my letter tomorrow. It makes me happy to know a massive amount of mail is going to choke BioWare next week.

Hi, i know my english its not good, but i find something very interesting

You guys remember the end of ME1? When the citadel is closed, and you have to open it? You have to go to the consuler area to open it, i found this this morning when i was thinking about the end.

Think about this, why there's a place like that in the citadel? a place that can open or close the citadel if NO ONE can access there?, just if you're a reaper victim!

And more, why the reapers leave a beam just THERE? in front of a place that can open the citadel? that makes no sense, its ridiculous.

Even more, when you're running to Harbinger, the beam hits you, and you ear "Our entire forces has been decimated", then Harbinger leaves the place, oh sure, really? He's retarded or something? i mean, he can't see Anderson reach the beam? He leaves the place when shepard recovers his concience, and you dont see Anderson anywhere..

Even more, if EDI its in your team, when Harbinger attacks you, HOW THE HELL SHE'S IN THE NORMANDY?

Think about all my theory and make me know what you guys think about this :)!

As I understand it EDI doesn't inhabit that body, EDI still resides in the normandy's AI core and transmits instruction to the body from inside the normandy.

Unless you're talking about her stepping out onto the planet, in which case yeah we all agree the whole teleporting squadmates thing is ridiculous.

As I was saying 3 pages ago.
We should try to send a message to sentuamessage for xbox live: -

http://www.facebook....?ref=ts&sk=wall
@sentUAmessage

They answer your questions about anything xbox in a monthly (I think) show on inside xbox.
Might be worth a try to spread the word and encourage some more people to help hold this line!

I get the feeling we're going to amass a batch of new recruits this weekend, what with people finishing the game in their free time and all. Especially in the UK, if they haven't been able to play during the week. I got it on Thursday and finished on Sunday, and I took time off work to do so.

So we will hold the line, and more will join us!!!

It's why Bioware's trying that massive multiplayer thing weekend with the schwag.  Personally I'm not going to play Multiplayer this weekend, I've decided to hold off helping their bottom line until they announce an ending fix, at which point I will, in all likelihood, get on my facebook and convince everyone I know that they need to buy the game or they're missing out on the gaming equivalent of the eiffel tower, or the canals of Venice, or the great wall, or the pyramids.

Until then I'm holding the line :)

yea same here, once theres an ending fix i would be able to convince everyone i know into getting a copy in a day at the most lol

This isn't the first time a rallying cry happened from a medium of entertainment.
The fan reaction from Highlander 2 was so backlashed at its Theatrical release that they reshot and edited multiple cuts of the movie to at least salvage the lore (it still sucked but they cared).
So stand Strong. Stand together. We will end this 1 way or another.

I am out of this all. I'm here to support you all, but I'm done with Bioware.

What do you expect them to say; they dodge it and deflected.  You're going to get people that will say that.  We shrug it off; we do not lower ourselves to their level........

WE HOLD THE LINE

I expect them to ignore a troll like that, since they ignore the fans who have been asking for closure for the most part.  Instead, they did somethign that gets that comment to the masses.

Wow, uhm. So I can't really read all the 1520 pages and since I haven't finished the game until just now, I've never read this thread in the past. So I have a few questions.

a) So there's a petition for new endings? A regular donation like kind of petition? So that Bioware will make a new ending? I don't get it.

B) Are all the endings so awful? (I blasted the synthetic life)

B) Yes

This is why this movement is destined to fail.

Wow, coffee from three different people, if only real life worked like that as well.

Not sure how much it will bring up morale, but I can mention again that Sweden's biggest newspaper that reach over 2 million people daily had an article about us, and actually took our side in it.

there are kind of two sides to this i guess. :/ on one hand, you're kind of right. on the other hand, i think some people might need the distraction. not like there's much going to happen over the weekend. may help keeping the spirits high.

as for me, since i'm not a fan of multiplayer anyway.. my aim sucks.

PAX worries me a little in that it's a crap shoot how people are going to act in person. Further, it's very easy for someone outside the group to do something inappropriate and have it perceived as representative of all of us. PAX should definitely mean more direct/media attention but that of course is a double-edged sword. Hopefully, though, the theory that it's easier to be a d*ck to people online that in person will mean that everyone will be on even better behavior but we shall see. The key, as always, will be to remain civil and to think before speaking since there's no edit button in real life.

A)The charity donation thing has two reasons, one paragon, one a bit more renegade.  The paragon side of it is that, regardless if Bioware does nothing, we've amassed a ton of money for an awesome charity that puts games into the hands of terminally ill kids (which is a big thing if you've ever been bored for days in the hospital, imagine weeks for chemo/rad treatments).

Renegade side is that, yes, it does bring a lot of media attention to our cause, which brings more people, and thereby applies more pressure to Bioware to provide us with an ending that meets their USUAL standards of excellence.

B) Yes.  Yes they are... welcome to the line, please requisition a weapon and report to Admiral Hackett for briefing. *salutes*

While I wouldn't call then weak (remember folks: civil and respectful), I do urge everyone to pass on the MP event. If Bioware gets a significantly smaller turnout than they intially estimated then it'll speak even louder than our words.
