To anyone playing in the MP event, you are weak.

This is why this movement is destined to fail.

I don't like MP so I can easily ignore it :D

That's the one that has me ready to leave Bioware completely.

I don't understand twitter, is this saying the ME twitter guy said that?

A fan called us whiney and stupid, and Bioware only made a comment on his Avatar. Call me strange, but I don't see a straight reason to leave. He didn't support him in his statement. He only jokes around...

I think several people already stated it several times, but that twitter thingy is an automated bot.
I don't really believe that though, considering the answers to harbinger were too witty to be automated

Wow, uhm. So I can't really read all the 1520 pages and since I haven't finished the game until just now, I've never read this thread in the past. So I have a few questions.

a) So there's a petition for new endings? A regular donation like kind of petition? So that Bioware will make a new ending? I don't get it.

B) Are all the endings so awful? (I blasted the synthetic life)

a) There's multiple petitions you can sign as well as a couple polls you can vote in. The charity drive is to raise awareness and to help dispel the 'entitled gamer' stereotype that's constantly thrown at us, it also makes sure that no matter what something good came out of this whole debacle. All donations go to help sick children so regardless of your position a donation would be welcome.

B) If you got an ending then you can see every other ending here, there's also a gamezone article I can't find right now that gives a concise list of why the ending (singular) just doesn't work.

Keep calm. That guy at the twitter is only human and under constant fire. Show them we are better than that.

Nah I don't hold that against them.. if you're a call support person you're legally entitled to hang up on someone being a complete idiot like that.  Just because I'm paid to listen to someone's complaints doesn't mean I'm paid to be abused verbally by them.  I think that was a bit of "Killing them with kindness" that was probably more than I would have done (AKA Block)

PAX worries me a little in that it's a crap shoot how people are going to act in person. Further, it's very easy for someone outside the group to do something inappropriate and have it perceived as representative of all of us. PAX should definitely mean more direct/media attention but that of course is a double-edged sword. Hopefully, though, the theory that it's easier to be a d*ck to people online that in person will mean that everyone will be on even better behavior but we shall see. The key, as always, will be to remain civil and to think before speaking since there's no edit button in real life.

This does concern me as well. I TRULY hope BW responds before Pax. It would astonish me if they didn't But themn this whole mess is astonishing in the first place.
Keep it civil and Hold the Line

Old news but still pisses me off....

That one was ......... no real words for it - damage control.  ING starting to back off; Gamespot will soon also; we're not folding; we're not backing down.  If fact we're picking up steam.......They will call us names; they will use every dirty trick to break us down.......

Will we fall for it?  No; some may faulter; when that happens; we will pick them up.  No one gets left behind......

We will hold the line; we will show them gamers are not something you can step. We're not scum; we're not acting like prenous snobs; or elites.......We are consumers; we have voices.........We will be heard......

We will be respectful; we won't fall for their tatics; nor will we give in.  For that's what they want.  We will contine to raise money for Child's Play......and care not they try to use it against us.

They are scare; as they should be.........they do not have the power.......We do!!

WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!!

Reposting for epic wins, this is a great poll that calls for a great deal of feedback concerning the ending. Very thorough.

Do you think we can keep this up? I mean...Not being pessamistic here but I can't see this keeping up momentum for more than three weeks.

Helmand troops lasted weeks running on fumes and half-empty rifles against a seemingly endless amount of enemy forces. If they can last all that, we can outlast a suicidal company in a game of mental and psychological attrition. We hold this line, or we never see the light of good video games again.

If Bioware gets away with this, it will open the floodgates for all companies to make dodgy or half-finished games, who will be assured by our loss here that they too can get away with it. If we lose, then the gaming franchise will change for the worst. When we started this, we knew the risks, the more we let up, the bleaker the future of video games will be. Do not let that happen, ladies and gentlemen, because we placed our bets against the house, now it's time to prove the house doesn't always win. Whether you like it or not, you've signed yourself up for the long haul, and now is the time we need you to stand the firmest. By showing Bioware up and winning, we show the world that they can't get away with things like this. I refuse to allow the future of gaming, for both us and our children, because we weren't strong-willed enough to hold to our word. Bioware can try to strike us down, but if we show persistence and resistance, we will win, of that I assure you.

All of you, good job for holding the line this far, reinforcements from the east will be arriving soon, and then we will finish this. A global assault against them is too much for them to come out unscathed from. They either fold, and be remembered and keep their reputation, or they can bust. We don't want them to bust. We're dealing with a suicidal company, and it's up to us to try and pull them away from the edge now, before everything we have fought for withers away.

Ladies and Gentlemen, bunker down and hold the line, we still have a chance to save Mass Effect, Bioware, and even the future of the entire gaming industry It's only a matter of time, they can't hold out forever, we however, have that advantage.

Grover and out.

You don't have to read everything (none of us does). And welcome. I've been here 2 days now (ended the game 2 days ago, still haven't recovered).

a) There's a donation but not to the petition. It's to the Child's Play charity.

B) YES!! they are all the same, just different colors. I swear!

I'm afraid those gates were stolen by Ubisoft two years ago, sorry.  Bioware was kinda the light in the dark wilderness, an uncompromising standard of excellence that didn't cut corners, til now :P

they better respond before the next game drops and people trade this game in

BW you're gonna have huge returns and few new purchases with the current 'status'

Won't have anyone to blame but yourself on that and losing awards that help sales too

Think the M3 tweet is just trolling the guy, like if I insulted you in utter rage and you just reply "oh so serious", making me even more ragey!. xD

If not, well then it shows something completely different, something i dont even want to think about. <_<
