So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Think the M3 tweet is just trolling the guy, like if I insulted you in utter rage and you just reply "oh so serious", making me even more ragey!. xD
If not, well then it shows something completely different, something i dont even want to think about. <_<
You mean he was offending the ME 3 Twitter guy first then? Sorry, I'm no Twitter user und thus don't understand what the fuss about his tweet about ....

Seriously...they teased so much about being able to build Tali her home. Even if Shep isn't around to do it..they strand her on some jungle world with no hope of ever doing so?
Who cares about the next Mass Effect game if all we have to look forward to is Bioware giving our next cast another slow and lonely death.

Coffee? Pfft. Passes around Red bull, Mountain dew pixi stix and lots of Jerky. Im here for the LONG haul!
Helmand troops lasted weeks running on fumes and half-empty rifles against a seemingly endless amount of enemy forces. If they can last all that, we can outlast a suicidal company in a game of mental and psychological attrition. We hold this line, or we never see the light of good video games again.
If Bioware gets away with this, it will open the floodgates for all companies to make dodgy or half-finished games, who will be assured by our loss here that they too can get away with it. If we lose, then the gaming franchise will change for the worst. When we started this, we knew the risks, the more we let up, the bleaker the future of video games will be. Do not let that happen, ladies and gentlemen, because we placed our bets against the house, now it's time to prove the house doesn't always win. Whether you like it or not, you've signed yourself up for the long haul, and now is the time we need you to stand the firmest. By showing Bioware up and winning, we show the world that they can't get away with things like this. I refuse to allow the future of gaming, for both us and our children, because we weren't strong-willed enough to hold to our word. Bioware can try to strike us down, but if we show persistence and resistance, we will win, of that I assure you.
All of you, good job for holding the line this far, reinforcements from the east will be arriving soon, and then we will finish this. A global assault against them is too much for them to come out unscathed from. They either fold, and be remembered and keep their reputation, or they can bust. We don't want them to bust. We're dealing with a suicidal company, and it's up to us to try and pull them away from the edge now, before everything we have fought for withers away.
Ladies and Gentlemen, bunker down and hold the line, we still have a chance to save Mass Effect, Bioware, and even the future of the entire gaming industry It's only a matter of time, they can't hold out forever, we however, have that advantage.
Grover and out.
I'm afraid those gates were stolen by Ubisoft two years ago, sorry. Bioware was kinda the light in the dark wilderness, an uncompromising standard of excellence that didn't cut corners, til now
You mean not since DA2, the constant reuse of the same environments was the very definition of cutting corners.

a) So there's a petition for new endings? A regular donation like kind of petition? So that Bioware will make a new ending? I don't get it.Are all the endings so awful? (I blasted the synthetic life)
a) There is a petition going on. Check my sig..
The donation if for Child's Play and we are doing a fund raiser to help children. The donations have nothing to do with the petition and is not to be used as blackmail to demand anything from Bioware.
We do not know as yet if Bioware will make a new endings.

I'll try and find the articles. Basically there were canon errors and stuff (sound familiar?) and they said they'd fix them in the next printing.

A)The charity donation thing has two reasons, one paragon, one a bit more renegade. The paragon side of it is that, regardless if Bioware does nothing, we've amassed a ton of money for an awesome charity that puts games into the hands of terminally ill kids (which is a big thing if you've ever been bored for days in the hospital, imagine weeks for chemo/rad treatments).
Renegade side is that, yes, it does bring a lot of media attention to our cause, which brings more people, and thereby applies more pressure to Bioware to provide us with an ending that meets their USUAL standards of excellence.Yes. Yes they are... welcome to the line, please requisition a weapon and report to Admiral Hackett for briefing. *salutes*
I can't find Hackett. A few days ago I pointed him towards the magical scar reducing machine and haven't seen him since

It doesn't matter who owns these gates. This is our chance to kill the knot-weed before it spreads. If we fail to stop this, I can assure you more companies will fall into this line of business. I don't want that, you don't want that. No-one wants that. Bioware are gutting themselves in this "plan" of theirs. What will happen is that either:
- Rival companies will reach out to the upset players and take advantage of our vulnerability to improve their own numbers. Ultimately, this will end up killing Bioware
- Rival companies will follow suit, spending less on their own products because they are sure that they can get away with it. Bioware will still be tarnished by it's reputation as one of the first franchises to turn shoddy.

It was midnight when this happened and I immediately went to this site for answers and found that I wasn't alone in my confusion and sadness in how Mass Effect 3 ended and I stayed up for two hours reading over everyone's comments and drawing strength from them. This game had all the markings to being one of the greatest of all time. Before that, my only complaint and suggestion would have been to delay ME3's release for a few more months just to polish it some more, correcting all the glitches.
The rumors of a possible new DLC ending fills me with cautious hope. I even starting another play through with another Shepard but I won't launch the attack to retake Earth until I have that DLC downloaded and on my hard drive. For the life of me, I can't believe that Bioware would release a game with that sort of ending. Nothing makes sense but I do know this is a mess they have to correct, if they wish to keep their consumers happy and from walking away for good.
I also heard that ugly word, entitlement being thrown around against us. Well, all I have to say to is that unhappy consumers do have entitlements and the first one is the right to take their hard earned money somewhere else if they feel wronged. I can forgive Bioware if they can simply fix their error, if not then ME3 will be the last game I will be buying from them. This is not anger speaking just sad disappointment.
Hold the line.
