So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Hey! I promised some friends I would play the MP event with them and I keep my promises (unlike BioWare). I'm not gonna let the protest stop me from keeping that promise. If you call that being weak, well, I didn't realize having integrity was considered being weak. I'll let my displeasure at their treatment of the endings be known in other ways.

Let me say that I finished this game not long ago and dealing with real life issues kept me from posting my thoughts here until now. Also, to be honest, I'm more of a lurking but I have to say my peace. I remained completely spoiler free when I finished it which I was grateful because I would have been dreading the approaching end. Like everyone else here, I enjoyed everything right up until I hit that last 10 minute mark. I was shocked and my first thoughts were, "That was very, very depressing." Then I tried my other choices and image my confusion that they were almost exactly the same. Did I screwed up somewhere and missed something?
It was midnight when this happened and I immediately went to this site for answers and found that I wasn't alone in my confusion and sadness in how Mass Effect 3 ended and I stayed up for two hours reading over everyone's comments and drawing strength from them. This game had all the markings to being one of the greatest of all time. Before that, my only complaint and suggestion would have been to delay ME3's release for a few more months just to polish it some more, correcting all the glitches.
The rumors of a possible new DLC ending fills me with cautious hope. I even starting another play through with another Shepard but I won't launch the attack to retake Earth until I have that DLC downloaded and on my hard drive. For the life of me, I can't believe that Bioware would release a game with that sort of ending. Nothing makes sense but I do know this is a mess they have to correct, if they wish to keep their consumers happy and from walking away for good.
I also heard that ugly word, entitlement being thrown around against us. Well, all I have to say to is that unhappy consumers do have entitlements and the first one is the right to take their hard earned money somewhere else if they feel wronged. I can forgive Bioware if they can simply fix their error, if not then ME3 will be the last game I will be buying from them. This is not anger speaking just sad disappointment.
Hold the line.
Welcome to the camp. We have punch and pie around here somewhere.

I'll try and find the articles. Basically there were canon errors and stuff (sound familiar?) and they said they'd fix them in the next printing.

I'm starting to think "space magic" is code for a middle finger. The next DLC will also reveal that it was all just a dream.
Is it sad that this is kind of what we're hoping for? As in the whole indoctrination theory gets tacked on as what happened, you wake up in front of the beam and continue to do the real ending. Or in video game terms: Bioware got a GAME OVER, but it's ok cause they had another guy so they get to try again.

I choked up a little bit. And then I pointed because the Femshep dialogues weren't included. Then I choked up again because it was so freaking beautiful. All my love for that eyepatch, tbh.
Come oooon, Bioware, this isn't even that haaaard.
This. I have seen a few that have done this as well. So what if it is predictable. So what if it is video gamey. It mattered. It didn't break the illision that it wasn't real like the starchild did. This is just sad.

I don't like MP so I can easily ignore it
I can't even use MP, I lack XBox Gold and have no desire for it. So yea, I'm not competing
Even if I could I wouldn't. I dislike the miltiplayer. I need to be able to freeze time to be effective.
I don't play shooters usually. The only ones in my Libary are ME, ME 2, and ME 3. Yes this series is so good it got someone who doesn't like shooters addicted. (By shooters I'm refering to both 3rd person and 1st person)
