I'm starting to think "space magic" is code for a middle finger. The next DLC will also reveal that it was all just a dream.

Is it sad that this is kind of what we're hoping for? As in the whole indoctrination theory gets tacked on as what happened, you wake up in front of the beam and continue to do the real ending. Or in video game terms: Bioware got a GAME OVER, but it's ok cause they had another guy so they get to try again.

One thing that annoys me about the indoctrination theory though is, it only makes sense to the Destroy - half breath ending, but unless you play multiplayer your Shepard will just die.

Hi, i know my english its not good, but i find something very interesting

You guys remember the end of ME1? When the citadel is closed, and you have to open it? You have to go to the consuler area to open it, i found this this morning when i was thinking about the end.

Think about this, why there's a place like that in the citadel? a place that can open or close the citadel if NO ONE can access there?, just if you're a reaper victim!

And more, why the reapers leave a beam just THERE? in front of a place that can open the citadel? that makes no sense, its ridiculous.

Even more, when you're running to Harbinger, the beam hits you, and you ear "Our entire forces has been decimated", then Harbinger leaves the place, oh sure, really? He's retarded or something? i mean, he can't see Anderson reach the beam? He leaves the place when shepard recovers his concience, and you dont see Anderson anywhere..

Even more, if EDI its in your team, when Harbinger attacks you, HOW THE HELL SHE'S IN THE NORMANDY?

Think about all my theory and make me know what you guys think about this :)!

It's called the indoctrination theory and is the most discussed theory in BSN.

Welcome onboard soldier. Feel free to hold the line with us.

Yeah well, but all what i was thinking its more big, the problem its that i have to translate all to english, and i'm not very good at all..

prepare yourself because this gonna be a big post...

- What i really think that the crucible should do (after Indoctrinated)-

What i really think that this weapon do, its make weak the Reapers, i mean, they're not strong, at least not "SO" strong, his real power resides in his defense, that defense makes them hard to kill, and i think that what the crucible really does its make them weak, so, when shepard wakes up (hurt), he reach the beam to the citadel, there he try to reach the REAL button to open the citadel, then, the crucible makes his work, then, all our flets make his movement and start to fight with the reapers, and here is where the number of our allies are so important, then the final fight really starts, the fight against the Harbinger

-Things about the ending (Indoctrinated or not)-

When you start to run to the beam and Harbinger attacks, where are your comrades?, i mean, if you take a look, you just run to the beam, we dont stop to see if they're there, but if they are with you, what happens to them? i mean, Harbinger is there, killing everyone, so, how your team flee of the battle?, if they not flee from the battle, where are his corpses?

"Negative, Our forces has been decimated", if they know this, then why Anderson its on the Citadel?, and the most important thing, Harbinger its retarded? he goes to no-one-knows-where and forgot all about the beam, once he "kills" shepard, nothing more matters? what if there's someone waiting to enter in the beam behind a wall or something? but no, Harbinger just leaves the place, so ok, that makes no sense, he cant see Anderson reach the beam? remember that Shepard recover his conscience just when Harbinger leaves the place, so if Anderson reach the beam before you, Harbinger have to see him, then WHY ANDERSON ITS NOT KILLED BY HARBNGER?

Shepard not have doubts about the words of the Catalyst?, i mean, he just accept all what he's saying, his mind does not recognize the aspect or voice from "the child"?

Here's the most funniest part, if the catalyst its real, and this is the real ending, how the catalyst knows the apperance of the child?, he can read the mind of Shepard? in that case, he should know from the beginning what shepards gonna do in the end, so why he says "You have a hard decission"? If he already knows what shepards gonna do...

If we destroy the mass relays, not only we're destroying every part of the milky way (cause the explosion), also if all races does not die cause of this, most part of them are condemned to live in Solar system, or in the earth, cause they have no way to return to his own planets

6º
How casual, the renegade option, who kills the reapers, also kill the Geth (We can take them as allies), and "maybe" kill us because we're in part syntetic, oh sure, so now Shepard its so ****ing retarded and cant think about control the reapers and make them commit suicide? i mean, ok, if im shepard and i can control the reapers before i die, i will not make them go away, no, i will make them kill themselves!, thats the logical way, but in the real case that he's indoctrinated, then it makes sense that he cant think about this, cause he cant fully control his mind

Thanks for read all, and sorry for my bad english, but i hope you guys understand all what i want to say!, cause some of the things that i say here i dont see it on the forum

By the way, Bioware guys, i hope you also read this post :)

Making my attempt at a second playthrough. After my first playthrough finished, the only achievement I still needed was to do my insanity run. Never imagined it would be so hard (and not talking about the difficulty setting).

Only things keeping me going is the fact that I get to see the Tali romance again, getting a chance to let Marauder Shields kill me once, and doing everything in my power to shoot the catalyst instead of picking an ending. Oh, and hoping I hear news before I make it to the end again. When I actually do finish it, I'll probably just leave the room. Can't stand to see that ending again.

Wish me luck, and HOLD THE LINE!

@JessicaMerizan
The ME3 Twitter is not a person. I should know, I wrote the guidelines ;) It's why we RT our employees - to celebrate ppl!

It makes me wonder though.. i've sent @masseffect at least 20 tweetsd, and havent recieved a single reply. I hate to open myself up to it, but, is my writing really that bad??

Hmm well could be that it randomly determines somehow when to respond. I know twitter has a limit of tweets. Lol jessica hit it last night. Overall I'll believe her. From what ive seen she's handeled this situation as best she can. Its the Higher up's that need to get off thier rear's and say something.

Most likely she means it's manned by multiple members of the PR Staff, including herself.  How else would it keep going 24/7?  If that were the case we need to send someone over and figure out what they're feeding this dude.. it would be like Hold-The-Line Space Magic.

Omigaw

I choked up a little bit.  And then I pointed because the Femshep dialogues weren't included.  Then I choked up again because it was so freaking beautiful.  All my love for that eyepatch, tbh.

Come oooon, Bioware, this isn't even that haaaard.

Lovely written. It's certainly from the "all is well"-department, but it's hardly unrealistic. I'd take this as the "good" ending anytime. Now common Bioware. Your community is even providing you with the material, just make it happen (and give the good man credit)

Ah so after I read this I started to think of what I'd write if I could make a new ending....So far I have this , this is the first part of it. Got more in writing waiting to be put up....If you like it or have some ideas I'm open to them.

The depressing thing about this is that I've wanted to do the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC, but I just don't feel any passion towards playing the games after this ending, nor do I want to pay for something that will be, as of now, completely worthless in the end.

Yeah.
I was planning on playing with my other Shepard.
But now I just don't want to.
That's why we have to keep at this!
To make sure something is done, and that our will to play gets right back to us!
Keep on holding the line!

Ladies and Gents, I am signing off for the night and hopefully the weekend so I can get stuff done, this thread is so engrossing it isn't funny anymore. It has seriously helped me get past some of my anger and depression. I will be back so HOLD THE LINE in my absence. I just want to reiterate one last time before I leave, stay civil, stay relatively on topic, do not attack anyone and

HOLD THE LINE!

I repost this now as pages move fast. Do you think there is a possibility they really fix the ending through the movie? How this will be my story, then?

This would be a dumb thing to do, the mass effect games were about our Shepard's choices throughout the series. Getting a movie to correct the ending reduces the amount of choices (and there were barely any to begin with) down to none.

Whaaaaat?

Did the ME 3 Twitter guy really say that to him???

 What to whome, sorry?

They think the rude twitter comment about those hating the ending being spoiled bleeps was written by the masseffect twitter account.

Guys, it wasn't. I know most of you know this, but the two who posted before for some reason do not.

The masseffect twitter account is the one that responded with "I like your avatar".

I never said Bioware wrote that tweet.  I'm saying they reposted it, and if the ME feed is a bot (which I don't believe) than they need to fix it with some sort of filter so comments like that do not get spread.

The movie was to follow the story of the first ME. Unless they recently changed that?

that reaper VI at the end, which looks like the child shepard saw at the beginning. The child entered a shuttle and got shot down. Shepard also had several dreams about that kid

I'm not really in 100% support of it. I'd be happy if it was just a dream. Like cut out the whole starkid B.S., and instead of being lifted up to him, Shepard wakes up when he stumbles forward. Like how one would in a dream? I dunno...I'm grasping at emergency induction ports just for some kind of hope.

I just had a crazy idea. So if Bioware just killed the Mass Effect universe, can we pull a Project Lazarus? QUICK! Someone call Martin Sheen and get Cerberus on the line.
