Whoa whoa whoa. I went to have dinner and I came back to find so many negative posts! What the heck happened here? Where are all the funny memes and videos posts?

For anyone who thinks there's no chance of them changing the endings... they already have changed stuff in the novels (just reposting this for more clarity):

I think that the emotions on the forum probably have a bit of a cycle between hopeful and hilarious and generally disheartened and slightly frustrated

Or at least, that's what I go through, hahahaha

An alarming thing just occured to me. We are not simply holding the line for Mass Effect. We are all that stands between now and the destruction of the entire video game industry.

What BW did with the ending (essentially telling us to go F*** ourselves and just "imagine" the rest) is a travesty that may undo everything video games have acomplished since Mario. It may lead developers to believe that they can just leave a cryptic FU note in place of the ending, and pass it off as "artistic vision", and none will be the wiser.

Don't like it, don't buy it, oh - you already bought it? Too bad for you...

Before I head out, I need to reply to this:

I am currently studying to be a Gamedesigner. Me and 25 others are the class of 2010 at the school we're at. There are dozens of people more from the other years, and most from my course are not happy about the ending.

I can tell you this: As the developers of tomorrow, I will make damn sure that this does not become practice. And I reckon my colleagues feel the same way.

I salute your decision, but being a member of corporate world myself I will tell you of this, so that it doesn't surprise you. You will soon notice that you're not the one with power. It's the management guys with the excell sheets and power point graphs. It's those graphs and sheets that will ultimatelly decide over you and what you do.

making a movie does not reduce the number of choices. There is only one choice in ME3 anyway - get our ass blown up for the cause. Hell, they could even adapt the 3d technology and give people 3 sets of 3d glasses to choose from, so we could colour the explosion at the end.

After finishing Mass effect 3 i felt empty... I felt as if a void of nothingness had consumed me. "What kind of ending is this?!" Right up until the end I viewed it as one oft the three greatest games of all time. However, my opinion was then corrupted by wahat I thought were poor writing...
It has taken a few days of contemplation and the aid of a certain video to turn that opinion around. It is not untill you realize what might realy be going on that you appreciate the current ending. I'm certain you can find this somewhere else on this website, but i belive that everyone who is the least intrested in the ending to Mass effect 3 should watch this exceptionally well made video.

Sorry, too much BS there. Them saying that anderson was talking to shep and not TIM, is a farce that is unpalatable

That's the one that has me ready to leave Bioware completely.

Does he mean real problems like getting games for sick kids? Last I checked, we were doing pretty well on that score...

I can't believe someone actually filed both a FTC complaint AND a Better Business Bureau complaint against EA.

If we ever find out who you are, you can bet everything you own that we will expel you from the Fleets and refuse to acknowledge your existence. Thank you SO much for making the rest of us look bad.

Personally I wouldnt do this but I do understand its a very frustrated gamer that feels he was miss sold in the game advertising.  Quite a few have agreed with this.

It's just that I went to have dinner and everyone was happy, joking about the ending, and talking about how we could hold the line forever. I came back and everyone is giving up...Don't give up, people!! I'm not giving up until Bioware says something. =]

hey guys,
i finished my first playthrough four days ago. the pain is mostly gone by now - leaving a lot of room for total incomprehension and confusion.
but i now feel mentally strong enought to support your call, and i just wanted you to know that i read most of your posts carefully (somewhat difficult because of the sheer amount you keep firing out!).
since my boyfriend is not a dedicated gamer he doesn't understand why this makes me so angry, but i know you all do!
i hold the line!

Ah a week later and i'm still refusing to drop this, When will Bioware get the message

They say that they're listening. I can say with great certainty that they know about the movement and what we want. It might just take a little while for them to put out an official response. Hang in there.

Hehe, This is EA, they might be listening but they won't do anything that costs money.
Atm Bioware will distract us saying how much they value and love us whilst EA beats the crap out of us and steals our wallets xD

Saskatchewan back holding the line!  Though, I do have a confession to make.  Like many others, I had some money set aside for ME3 DLC, and I planned to donate it to Child's Play.  However, this week is the charity drive for the Neonatal unit in my city, so I donated the money to them.  Sorry you guys!

THE GENERAL PROBLEM WITH THIS CHAIN OF THOUGHT ( ALTHOUGH WODERFULLY APPRECIATED ) IS THAT IF YPU DONT OWN THE COMPANY, YOU DONT MAKE THE CHOICES. yOU CANT PROMISE THIS AS LONG AS GREEDY MEN RUN THE COMPANIES..
and please forgive the caps. My cat hit the caps lock and i cant touch type so didnt notice till it wwas too late..

I find this more hilarious than frustrating. Just imagine what woud be going through your head trying to respond to something so volatile, then you notice the avatar and its like, "Oh, yes, a way out! Thank god!"
