Saskatchewan back holding the line!  Though, I do have a confession to make.  Like many others, I had some money set aside for ME3 DLC, and I planned to donate it to Child's Play.  However, this week is the charity drive for the Neonatal unit in my city, so I donated the money to them.  Sorry you guys!

No way.. don't be sorry at all.  If you're talking about the RNICU they're an amazing facility and a great cause!

An alarming thing just occured to me. We are not simply holding the line for Mass Effect. We are all that stands between now and the destruction of the entire video game industry.

What BW did with the ending (essentially telling us to go F*** ourselves and just "imagine" the rest) is a travesty that may undo everything video games have acomplished since Mario. It may lead developers to believe that they can just leave a cryptic FU note in place of the ending, and pass it off as "artistic vision", and none will be the wiser.

Don't like it, don't buy it, oh - you already bought it? Too bad for you...

I've always pittied so called artists creating stuff to shock other people. How does shocking others do any good? Most of the movies, books, games end with a happy or semi-happy end. Even if the protagonist dies, they show us why and what he died for. They show us the ones he saved and how they honor him for his sacrifice. In case of ME3 we get nothing. When story ends we r left sad, depressed, confused and angry. tons of mistakes, absurds etc. If this is really what BW intended they just lost their way.

THE LINE WILL BE HELD!

Ah a week later and i'm still refusing to drop this, When will Bioware get the message

They say that they're listening. I can say with great certainty that they know about the movement and what we want. It might just take a little while for them to put out an official response. Hang in there.

The whole "were listening" is just aimed at keeping us quiet.  Once more have completed the game they will then respond with a q&a from our feedback trying to explain parts of the ending to us.  It is highly unlikely we will get a new ending as they still believe we are just a minority.

they may decide that it makes business sense to create something new but this would be unplanned and will take months to make and release.

I'd be fine with that.

BTW, anyone noticed that the ending were shepard breathes its real?, i mean, its not just "a generic guy who breathes" like i read somewhere, you can see this if look at the ending of Femshep or MaleShep, just look at the chest and you'll see that its your shepard :3

I can't believe someone actually filed both a FTC complaint AND a Better Business Bureau complaint against EA.

If we ever find out who you are, you can bet everything you own that we will expel you from the Fleets and refuse to acknowledge your existence. Thank you SO much for making the rest of us look bad.

I'm not the one who did that, but frankly, i dont care about looks, i care about results, and this action on this persons part damaged the possibility of getting the results we all have been trying so hard to achieve..

That's the one that has me ready to leave Bioware completely.

Does he mean real problems like getting games for sick kids? Last I checked, we were doing pretty well on that score...

I find this more hilarious than frustrating. Just imagine what woud be going through your head trying to respond to something so volatile, then you notice the avatar and its like, "Oh, yes, a way out! Thank god!"

Point is they didnt have to respond at all, many have stated they have not received a response on tweets they have sent.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Not likely a positive business case is possible for this scenario, redoing the end...but maybe I am just too pessimistic about as I work in big multinationals for > 20 yrs and I know well how things work in big companies.
But we cannot give up, we have to hold the line!

As am I, I want an ending for commander shepard that fits and I'd rather have great ending DLC than a hastily put together ending realeased as fast as possible to placate fans.

We want a statement that says they are commited to making an ending that makes sense, the timeframe for it (as long as it's reasonable) doesn't concern me.

Keep in mind there are still people who have not beaten the game. I have many friends who play multiplayer a lot, which greatly delays the process of beating the game. I am expecting the coming weekend to give a lot of free time to players, and hopefully a large jump in supporters for our cause.

I personally am not asking for a new ending.

What I do want is a continuation to see what I'd just done with my choice of A, B or C.

And while we hold the line, let's just enjoy at least the "Japanese" version of the ending:
