If I wanted to give shepard the ending I wanted I wouldn't of bought the game, I'd just imagine my ideal ending. We trusted Bioware to deliver a competent ending that, while probably not our ideal ending, at least left us with a satisfied feeling come the credits and gave us some perspective on our how our choices mattered.

Trying to is a key-word. Blanshing Garrus is also strange(maybe it's all for the translation)
Well I thought it was clear.
I have no idea what you mean by "blanshing" Garrus though....

After Prague premiere of Don Giovanni, Mozart had to write a new finale, because the audience found the original 'ending' too bleak.
Oh, and about the 'unalterableness' (?! immutability?) of great art: Brahms was a compulsive 'rewriter'. I can't check my facts right now, but I think it was the first Piano Trio, that he wrote 8 times over.
Anyone with half a knowledge of Bach's vocal works knows that he recycles whole movements like crazy. His Mass in B minor is, in the opinion of many, the most sublime musical work ever written: but, surprise surprise, ALL its movements were used earlier, as Cantata pieces. He also incessantly rewrote some pieces for different instruments.
My point is: No, I don't think that ME is a 'work of art' of anything.
BUT
'Works of art' do not pop out already-made-in-their-full-perfection from their creators' minds. To think that they do is the mark of ignorance.

Samara has three children, all Ardat-Yakshi. I thought she was just talking about her own family and that there were more Ardat-Yakshi.
Samara states that there are currently 3 ardat-yakshee in existence, all three her daughters. The two who accepted seclusion were the two still alive in ME3. The 3rd being Morinth. But, as I said, she could have been wrong or lying. Ardat-yakshi are not generally known outside of Asari culture so it's not surprising that there would be more of them at the monastery. I find no problems with the number encountered in the game.
Im pretty sure the codex on Banshees talks about it including Asari who just have any Ardat-yakshi in their genes not nesecarily full on Ardat-yakshi

I honestly don't know what all the fuss is about. I have seen all the endings and to be honest I knew it wouldn't end well the game pretty much tells you things are not going to end well.
Like I said to be honest I have no problem with the ending so I can't really see what all the fuss is about.
How did your squad get back on the Normandy and why was it fleeing the battle?
We do not know either.

What was the original ending of Don Giovanni then? He still gets taken to hell and is replaced with a statute in supplication so that's pretty bleak....
Or did the original ending have Don Giovanni being given the options of red, green or blue doors to go through based on his actions throughout the opera, each door inevitably leading to a fiery doom....

The original ending is the statue.
The add-on ending is really silly, where you have each surviving character give a short summary of what they're going to do from now on.
Or did the original ending have Don Giovanni being given the options of red, green or blue doors to go through based on his actions throughout the opera, each door inevitably leading to a fiery doom....
Now that you mention it...
The Magic Flute actually has a scene like that (pick the right door, A, B, or C)

It's been stated repeatedly that they were waiting until everyone had a chance to play the game before making any statements or participating in any discussions about the game...so, if they're smart, they'll post something next week because Japan came online yesterday...
And they're angry.
