my voice must be cool then.

Hackett's voice is definitely one of the best voices in the game for me. He's not Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman level but his voice is strangely soothing and strong to me.

A logical Conclusion to an otherwise great Franchise???

What was the original ending of Don Giovanni then? He still gets taken to hell and is replaced with a statute in supplication so that's pretty bleak....

The original ending is the statue.
The add-on ending is really silly, where you have each surviving character give a short summary of what they're going to do from now on.

Or did the original ending have Don Giovanni being given the options of red, green or blue doors to go through based on his actions throughout the opera, each door inevitably leading to a fiery doom....

Now that you mention it...

The Magic Flute actually has a scene like that (pick the right door, A, B, or C) :?

Ahh, yes, I forgot about the character epilogues.

Hmm, that's kind of like suggesting that Violetta should get better after Alfredo comes back in La Traviata....

You do! "Hackett Out" was one of my favorite lines in ME3...just like "assuming direct control" and "I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite store on the Citadel" are my favorite lines from ME2

After one week in read only mode, this is my first and probably also my last post on the matter. After reviewing the facts and leaving out the speculative stuff I can only conclude that this is really "it". There's no planned real ending DLC. The indoctrination theory is nothing more but anticipointed people reaching out for every emergency induction port they can possibly find. There is no big BioWare Masterplan to fix this all. They simply completely screwed up.

It's beyond my understanding how anything so devastatingly horrid could have ever passed through any creative department, but there you have it. I'll continue to check the forums and I will eagerly wait for any official announcement, hoping for anything to redeem the Mass Effect franchise - but I'm not holding my breath.

Post will very likely get buried very fast as I don't have to say anything that wasn't said a hundred times before - doesn't matter, just wanted to add my voice to the "lol seriously, BioWare?" - chorus.

At the time, although the indoctrination theory made sence, i didn't really believe it. Truth is, dig around and you'll find ways of connecting the dots and  evidence that supports your theory.

Let's be honest here, wouldn't this be cheesy? i mean REAAAAAAAL cheesy?
and what's there to prove that this "truth" dlc has anything to do with the game's ending?

sorry, i know sometimes it's hard to believe but... bioware failed, hard. this one will go down the history books.

It's been stated repeatedly that they were waiting until everyone had a chance to play the game before making any statements or participating in any discussions about the game...so, if they're smart, they'll post something next week because Japan came online yesterday...

And they're angry.

To them everyone having a chance to play the game could mean until Mass Effect 4 is released.

You must've watched the Alien movies, right?  The first 3 at least?  Because that, my friend, is the synthetic known as Bishop.  He also played a role in the first AvP movie.

I'm willing to hold the line till May if I have too.

Sacred, holding the line with one hand, rushing to finish homework with the other.(Mom finally kicked my butt into gear to get the stuff finished. She's understanding that I'm depressed and angry over the ME3 "ending" but she's still up to the task of getting her daughter to do her homework, even if the daughter is taller than her....*Peeks around the corner at mom*...she can be very scary...)

It sounds so epic when you read that statement while listening to the ME 3 soundtrack.

"And they're angry"

*epic Mass Effect 3 music in the background*

But yes, the ending defintely carried the ability to confuse and upset people across any/all culture barriers. Sort of impressive really.

I've been drowning my sorrows in Dragon Age Origins and a bucket load of 'fix it ' ME3 fanfic lol. I'd always trusted Bioware, should have known that when they eventually failed it would be of epic proportions..
