I hope we can hold the line till April.
It's been stated repeatedly that they were waiting until everyone had a chance to play the game before making any statements or participating in any discussions about the game...so, if they're smart, they'll post something next week because Japan came online yesterday...
And they're angry.

Haven't seen anything about this, is there an English article or perhaps a Japanese one I can have google translate?

All this means is that they ended the game truly thinking the ending was a good decision.
This won't be the first time in history that a company has been convinced to change the ending when they previously had no plans to do so.

...ok...I can feel my rage building with that post.
It's one thing to say all that...but then...doesn't he realize that the ending (because, let's face it, there's only one ending) is so full of plot holes so huge that you can drive the Bismark through them?
Doesn't he realize that he's ignoring the people that truly matter? The people that buy and play the games? That the -majority- of those people hate the ending, because it makes no sense?
Wow...now I'm even more determined to hold the line. This had better be some joke on his part, because if it's not it's just going to add fuel to the fire.

Oh god. I didn't see it before. So they really arent planning anything more with the ending. I'll can't even keep writing about this.
They better be, because it won't be Hold The Line anymore, it will be CHARGE Bioware with everything you've got!

Yes, it does!!
Ok, now you are reminding me of Legion's death...
I know, and I did it to myself too....
*offers tea and cookies to go with the tissues*
Thank you...
Appreciated. *sniff*
That's another thing BioWare, we never get to find out why Legion has N7 armour - he just hangs his head and says "no data"
WE WANT ANSWERS! (And possibly some brobot goodness)

He never said anything about ending DLC. The only thing this proves is that they didn't have a secret 'good' ending up their sleeve which I believe had been established before but everyone seems to forget/gloss over that.

Take back Omega (it won't fix the ending)
5 new maps (it won't fix the ending)
A Night with a Hanar (it won't fix the ending)

I cant believe this is the real ending... which is ... sad.
I have to throw my hat in the lot of "I blame EA and their micro transaction business model" on this one.
I wouldn't care if my whole team died... as long as they were actually fighting for something in the end.

More, and more people are joining us. Every hour. Every day.
If we give up now, they win. By they, I mean the people that honestly expect us to tolerate that sorry excuse for an ending.
If this is how far down Bioware has come, then by the gods of war now is the time to become more firm in our resolve. We keep hammering them and hammering them, in the manner we've been doing, and keep this alive.

Huh, I never watched any of the Aliens movies all the way through actually. I caught the last 30 minutes of the second movie on a late night marathon years ago. I liked it, then I saw the first 5 minutes of the third movie invalidating everything and turned if off immediately.
Reminds you of a certain something right?
