All this means is that they ended the game truly thinking the ending was a good decision.
This won't be the first time in history that a company has been convinced to change the ending when they previously had no plans to do so.

It's one thing to say all that...but then...doesn't he realize that the ending (because, let's face it, there's only one ending) is so full of plot holes so huge that you can drive the Bismark through them?

Doesn't he realize that he's ignoring the people that truly matter?  The people that buy and play the games?  That the -majority- of those people hate the ending, because it makes no sense?

Wow...now I'm even more determined to hold the line.  This had better be some joke on his part, because if it's not it's just going to add fuel to the fire.

Oh god. I didn't see it before. So they really arent planning anything more with the ending. I'll can't even keep writing about this.

No, wait. This isn't a failure. I don't see why we failed. He never said "we're not fixing it". He just said "we will work on new content"...whatever the heck he is talking about.

He never said anything about ending DLC. The only thing this proves is that they didn't have a secret 'good' ending up their sleeve which I believe had been established before but everyone seems to forget/gloss over that.

Stiffen your resolve soldiers, the battle just got tougher. Casey, yet again, is trying to say the 2% of people happy with the ending is proportionate to the 98% not happy with it. He's also trying to say the horrendous excuse for an ending we got was not just HIS idea. It may not have been, but the notes seem to disagree.

Yes, bittersweet I'm okay with... But considering the amount of people stuck on earth, the entire fight against the reapers proves pointless... no mass relays, not enough resources... people who were dead are suddenly on the ship and okay...

I cant believe this is the real ending... which is ... sad.

I have to throw my hat in the lot of "I blame EA and their micro transaction business model" on this one.

I wouldn't care if my whole team died... as long as they were actually fighting for something in the end.

Huh, I never watched any of the Aliens movies all the way through actually. I caught the last 30 minutes of the second movie on a late night marathon years ago. I liked it, then I saw the first 5 minutes of the third movie invalidating everything and turned if off immediately.

Reminds you of  a certain something right?
