So we can't get the ending we want after all?

We have not failed until they explicitly say "The ending of the series is what we have given you, you're not getting anything else to change it"
Until then we stand firm, we stand strong, we stand resolute and we hold. the. bloody. line.
Thank you.

Don't know if all you lovely people here know this, but there is an official site! Check it out. It uses the war asset sytem from the game to great effect!

Nice find!
24th Tennessee Sharpshooter Battalion reporting in!
Hm... I can't seem to get the site to work. All I see on the pages is the little disclaimer message. Oh well.
Also... Yeah!!! Another TN person here! I was beginning to think I was the only one representing. Welcome to the fold!
Hell I thought I was the only one as well lol. Glad to be of service, now let's show them what TN is made of!

Like others have said, he never said they wasn't working on an ending. Give it more time people, this isn't over yet.

How on Earth can anyone think that the ending (GODDAMN SINGULAR) was uplifting, satisfying or really anything of worth? I cannot comprehend the thoughts of these beings.

Wow, didn't see that before. I love the quote "we wanted to give players the chance to experience an inspiring and uplifting ending". They REALLY dropped the ball hard on being inspiring and uplifting, and we wanted endingS, not one depressing ending that you get no matter what choices you make along the way.
He did not just say... what I just bolded....

What is inspiring and uplifting of changing every organics DNA or stranding the whole galaxy away from their homeworlds?

I could finally get up and relieve myself of the ****** that had been welling up over the past four hours of play?
That was about the only good feeling I got out of the ending.

What ever do you mean? Seeing Joker and EDI embrace on a random garden planet that they are somehow marooned on for no other reason than Joker saying "Pack this **** in, we're out of here!" While Shepard was slowly dying alone on the citadel having to choose her favorite color: Red Green or Blue... ITS CINEMATIC GENIUS! MOVE OVER AVATAR!

well if the definition of "inspiring and uplifting ending" means destroying my shep's universe, everyone i came to care about over these 3 games, and leaving me depressed as hell.......nitefyre410 wrote...

It's time THEY show us some support, we have been supporting them for far too long and look what we got.

.. He didn't say anything interesting didn't he? >_<
Not really.. haha.
There are really 3 choices here.. (IRONY AT ITS FINEST):
A) We'll call this Destroy, since it will destroy a significant customer base. He doesn't want the endings changed. It does appear he has a significant personal stake in these endings.. however, since he was fine correcting canonical errors in a novel written by someone else (http://games.ign.com.../1218059p1.html), I see no problem with him correcting them in his own work.
C) We'll call this Synthesis - They'll admit they mixed up, they'll admit that their fans, their customers are first priority to them over all other things, be that ego, legacy, effort, uncompromising narrative, and that they're going to make this work within the context of the current ending so as not to anger others who may have, legitmately, enjoyed the ending.
So really, nothing's changed here..
Hold the line folks

Wait, I'm so ****g confused. If anything doesn't this seem like him saying "there will be more Sheppard" mean there will be post ending clarification/editing. He can't really think he can say that then just drop "Omega DlC"
Should I cry now or rejoice?
^ this. That's what I take from this too. All I hear is "we are going to release dlcs; you just don't know what they will be about" And they also say they will take our opinions in consideration for the new contents, so...if we stay long enough, won't that mean that we can contribute and push for an ending dlc?

At least it'll be easier not to move.
