Yep that thread is a must read.
Casey Hudson's comments are a reason to keep up the pressure not let off. If they really want our feedback for upcoming game content then we should give it to them. In a civil constructive manner of course.
They have to get to the point where they can't ignore this anymore, or they realize that they will loose a lot by doing it.
And I think we have to keep the bringing the media into it. And Child's Play!

That is more then what we have been getting so I guess it is something. It doesn't adress any of our primary concerns though. I hope that they rectify the ending issue before releasing any other dlc. I'm sure it would be fun but there is zero chance of me and likely many of you purchasing it without the ending fixed. Honestly what would it really gain us to buy it if the end still sucks.zephyrus92 wrote...

This is the biggest news of the hour:

I know I for one won't be buying any DLC unless it has the words "Alternate endings" like you said what is the point in buying the DLC if the ending still sucks.
Totally. And i would also advice to NOT play the game until this DLC comes out. With the server synch, EA know how many people are playing. If we can make the " another ending " solution viable for them, they will give it to us. It's all about money.

Then send your initial reaction in words.
If you remember my initial wall of text post, that's basically what I'm sending to them in email format.
I may send an email. I don't really care if they have my address or anything, I just really don't like sending angry mail or email.. it's not who I am usually. I like your idea of sending my initial reactions though... I'll think it over. Thanks!
I agree with you on the angry mail. Mine isn't angry; mostly it's sad and confused and trying to explain what I felt I was promised and how I felt when that was taken away from me.

Guys, this is an ongoing dialogue. Casey's post is not the final definitive answer to your concerns. This is a collaboration.
In order to be successful in this, I need you to help me gathering feedback and tell us what you want to see. I understand that people are still feeling emotionally raw or untrusting, and I'm not saying it's not valid to feel that way. However, if you want to see your feedback implemented, this needs to become constructive and rational.
Complaining more isn't going to get you what you want. Tell us what you need. Make polls, collect your thoughts. Chris and I are gathering this information and the developers are listening.
This is a partnership. Let's have hope and make your voice heard - that includes positive feedback too (if you like something we're doing, tell us so we know to keep it up!).
So, guys, let's get moving!! We need to be as organized as possible and make it clear that we do not want in game dlc (at least not yet) and what we want exactly from the end.
It is far from over. We just got them to really listen to us!
is this a good cap bad cap, game?

This is exactly it, they haven't said yea or nea yet so the fight isn't over, make them realize this problem can't be silently swept under the rug.
Also, keep donating to Child's Play if you can people, make sure that as much good comes out of this as possible.

Guys, this is where we need the really talented writers to come in as well. Anyone remember what page that post was on about the alt ending? The one with all the epilogues and shepard's children going to a new galaxy?
And please, please, please! Be respectful and formal as possible there. This is where they are going to collect their information from if we come off as a bunch of "Durrr fix ur own ending" (not saying anyone in this thread has, but just incase) then the momentum we just got (which is a hell of a lot more than we had 3 hours ago) goes away.
List your problems, talk about the plotholes and how you would like to see them patched, be specific as possible, talk about how the ending felt, use other Bioware games as examples, but most of all be as crystal clear as possible. This is where we stop just standing and holding the line, and start making steps forward with that line.

We always intended that the scale of the conflict and the underlying theme of sacrifice would lead to a bittersweet ending—to do otherwise would betray the agonizing decisions Shepard had to make along the way. Still, we wanted to give players the chance to experience an inspiring and uplifting ending; in a story where you face a hopeless struggle for basic survival, we see the final moments and imagery as offering victory and hope in the context of sacrifice and reflection.
We've had some incredibly positive reactions to Mass Effect 3, from the New York Times declaring it “a gripping, coherent triumph”, to Penny Arcadecalling it “an amazing accomplishment”, to emails and tweets from players who have given us the most profound words of appreciation we've ever received.
But we also recognize that some of our most passionate fans needed more closure, more answers, and more time to say goodbye to their stories—and these comments are equally valid. Player feedback such as this has always been an essential ingredient in the development of the series.
That my friends is a superb PR spin on 45,000 players and whoever is not on BSN. It effectively says, game over. There wont be another ending.
Well atleast the kids got a good chunk money outta this.
