Does anyone here honestly believe they need more information on what is wrong with the ending? It has been beaten to death in probably 100 or more threads, not counting this one. The same can be said with what we expected the ending to have.

*shrugs* At best this is a stall tactic while they create an ending that makes sense.

Part of me is almost tempted to believe that the ending was planned to be this bad, and that they have a "real" ending waiting for when the game is released world wide. The ending is just so bad its surprising it got through any quality control.

Aye, it's still a stall tactic and yes, there was no master plan. If only, that would have been one for the history books.
But to stay positive this is still going somewhere instead of nowhere.
So like Marauder Shields, we hold the line

I chuckled when I read that topic.

Here's my response:

This.

As much as I appreciate Jessica wanting feedback, I have to ask, what was BW doing in the first place with respect to the ending controversy?

There's been numerous posts in the forums with constructive feedback.  Doesn't BW have the resources to go through those posts, especially with all the money they've made in pre-orders?  How about going back to the start of development of ME3 and the press releases that promised different endings, i.e., 16?  BW has had a good writing team.  Are you telling us that they could not figure out 16 different endings?  If so, then why were the promises made?

Regardless of what their tactics may or may not be, I fully intend to provide them with constructive feedback. I'm not assuming that anything is going to come from it, neither will I assume that nothing good can come from it. I'm still holding the line, and not budging, but that doesn't mean I can't give them a decently worded essay on why they let us down, along with what they actually got right. Especially given that I feel that what they got right made what they got wrong all the worse because of it.

Wow, this is great! Thanks for reposting this!

People read THIS! :D

We need to continue to Hold the Line until we get a solid answer and they need to stop calling us "some fans" no we are the majority...

They are trying to blow us off...and lessen the impact of our thoughts and feelings. They don't want to admit (at least not yet) that we are the majority. That day will come though....I believe it will.

So hold the line!

Again with Jessica's post, read ALL of this:
http://social.biowar...ndex/10084349/1

Just an excerpt that I feel matches what she said to a T:
"You will know that there’s a genuine need for dialogue in the corporate bunker when the message turns from “we’re listening” to “we acknowledge we may have a disconnect with our consumers and are willing to discuss a meaningful solution to the problem.” It signals an end to non-committed deflection and opening genuine talks to solve the problem (it’s knows as “Exposing Your Throat” btw). At present, you’ll notice Bioware/EA has only said they will “explain” the endings. That’s not a give, that’s a delay tactic."

Awesome. Im back in line, my heart sunk for abit... But this atghunter keeps me going atm!. =)

I wonder if they will shut him down? Lol.

Exactly... I can't help but think this is more PR...

On the surface it looks like "help us help you"

But the more I look at it, the more I think they want us to start putting out ideas and then start arguing over them amongst ourselves.

Deflect the non-quality ending topic by making us infight on what it should have been (because this is the internet, that's what happens here)

Then as that arguement gains steam, the original rage can just fade away

I don't want to sound like a broken record or anything, but I really think this poll is a good one to give Bioware a general idea of what we want. We should all vote:

The more I think about it, the more i'm telling myself they actually though about the next game and it need an " overall " ending pattern to get ready.

Sadly, bioware is starting to produce M-rpg ( M stand for money, what else ? )

My friends, if we fail, i'm afraid an entire page of videogaming might fall with us.

Hold the line no matter what it might cost è_é

That's the main reason I'm not touching that thread. I do not trust myself in that sort of enviroment. Better to post here and not say "Game Over" every post. I'm now a postive poster ;).

No I think they're concerned since its a bigger percentage of players that hate/dislike the ending than they thought. Problem is there's really no place to neatly collect our thoughts on what we want its just a lot of us firing off our thoughts and frustrations all over the place

They made a thread: http://social.biowar...8213/4#10099038

And we can always use this poll to give them a broad idea and then express our opinions:

http://social.biowar...index/10071250

GUYS, please vote and give your feedback to both the survey and the thread. This is our time to make them understand we need a better ending and what exactly we want. They are listening and it might be the only chance we get.

Thanks I didn't know anything about those until now. Anyone here who hasn't taken them should do so

okay, I was off for a bit, here is a small sample of the letter i'm working on

I am a long standing consumer of Bioware videogames beginning with Baldur’s Gate in 1998 for the P.C. Over the years, Bioware rewarded the trust I placed in the company by providing superbly developed products along with excellent customer service. I cannot think back to a time when I felt a product had been deliberately over hyped or released in an untimely manner. Bioware for me, became the only company whose products I preordered because they were the only company I trusted to deliver on what they promised.
However the recent release of Mass Effect 3 is causing me to take a second look at the way Bioware releases video gaming products. It was specifically stated in the advertising that the trilogy ending game would provide “16 wildly different endings” all based on choices that game players had made in the earlier releases of Mass Effect 1 & 2. It was also specifically stated that there would be no simple “A, B, or C” choice on which to end the game. In both cases these assertions are incorrect. At its heart, the 16 different endings are really just variations on three different color choices. A: the blue choice offers control of the machines. B: the green choice offers synthesis of the machines. C: the red choice offers the destruction of the machines. This would be almost excusable except for the fact that these three choices come straight from the ding of another EA title, Deus Ex. I did not spend $60+ dollars to play Deus Ex. I was told through marketing that the development team was spending hundreds of hours developing original content.
In any other transaction where a consumer purchases a product that fails to live up to marketing the expectations, that consumer has the ability to receive a full refund. Purchasers of electronic media do not have that afforded to them, especially in the gaming industry. Once the purchase is opened the turn round time on a refund is very short. This game took 40 hours of play to reach the conclusion, so while I enjoyed the first 95% of the game, by the time I knew that the game was not living up to the marketing it had been given it was too late for a refund.

Screw that, I felt like Ned, Rob, Catelyn Jon, Drogo and damn near every other awesome character in the series was ripped to pieces and turned into white walkers that would eat their own children
