The N7 weekend is a joke. And we're the punchline.

To any of you people willing or wishing to participate in this BS know that all you're doing is taking a momentary satisfaction to the detriment of what we all want, a real ending.

This N7 thing lasts for a weekend, the ending will last for years. Which one is more important to you?

well it's not like playing multi gives them money, and since i cant get a refund...

It's not giving them money, but it's giving them satifaction. The rule is simple, you are playing ME3, then you don't care about the ending. If they got a really tiny participation, they might consider us a little more... important. So hold the line.

Continuing to hold the line in New York. Don't give up everyone, we've received ACKNOWLEDGEMENT from Bioware. It's not much, but it's a start.

Hold the line, continue being excellent!

Oh man... I'm IMing my friend right now who is currently choosing her flavor of galactic destruction for the first time. Anyone have anything they think I should tell her as she ponders whether to choose synthesis or destroy?

This was probably the hardest part of dealing with these horrible endings. Trying not to ruin the ride for my friends who haven't beaten the game.

This is the point where we need to ask ourselves a question. Will we succumb to the feigned appeasement presented by BW that is designed to quiet our forces our will we stand fast. I say we stand fast. We have come to far and accomplished to much to back down now. I believe the fate of our cause will be determined by what happens in the next 24 hours. Remember the night is darkest just before the dawn (thanks for that one batman). Hold that line.

Definitely stand fast, but also if you want, post in that thread where they are taking ideas and whatnot. Don't get your hopes up obviously, and don't stop posting in this thread just because you feel like you had your say in that one. Chances are higher they will read your post there yes (I would pity the person who would have to go through this one). And don't just say your peace and have done with it. If we lose momentum now because of that thread it's possible they can just write us off.

Keep that pressure on people and hold the line.

Regarding the thread that was posted here http://social.biowar...dex/10098213/13
It is great that they are listening and accepting feedback, and brings postive thoughts to me, as well as the rest of you i hope.
However make sure this does not affect our cause... nothing has changed permanently so

No it doesn't give them money. It just shows you're willing to take whatever idiocy they offer if they pretty it up enough for you.

If they offer something for free and nobody gets online to play despite that its free, that sends the clearest message immaginable that. "You ****ed up and you ****ed up BAD"

All this N7 crap is "free" anyway. You pay with credits online, that you earn by playing ONLINE. They're just making it momentarilly easier for you to get

I don't get it, what exactly is this N7 weekend thing?

A way to deflect all this. Its a multiplayer event this weekend.
They want to show X numbers joined in and took down a million reaper brutes or something.

But their "event" has one flaw, it only shows people enjoy multiplayer. Dosnt change one bit about all this, the ME3 ending.

Constant vigilance!
They wan't our feedback? Good give it them (again in a constructive civil manner), but the fight is not over until that bright day when we have new endings, endings that make sense!

Never before have so many come together from all quarters of the globe, but never before have we faced a bad ending such as this. BioWare may or may not show us mercy. We must give them no quarter. They will try to placate our populations, we must stand fast and face such platitudes. They will advance until our last soldier falls, but we will not fall. We will prevail. Each of us will be defined by our actions in the coming battle. Stand fast. Stand Strong. Stand Together.
Hackett out.

i seem to have defaulted to always choosing the red flavor of galactic destruction, it doesnt seem right to mess with DNA and make everyone the same like you would with the green flavor IMO, and i know how you feel, my brother is playing through mass effect 3 atm, its going to be brutal when he beats it :crying:

I just wish everyone on BSN would stop yelling at each other about how "People who want an ending where X happens are stupid and they suck AND THEY ARE EVERYTHING BAD IN THE WORLD EVER!"

Mass Effect, at it's heart, is about choice. It's about being able to use that that choice to shape the universe around you. Nobodies choices are superior to anyone else's, they are just more enjoyable for themselves. If I want a happy ending (and I do) and someone else wants an ending where Shep sacrifices themselves neither ending is better. Both are great endings for each individual.

The more players they get on to N7 weekend the more people will buy the point packs for multiplayer, and the more money they get.. It also allows them to say "Multiplayer going strong!" to anyone who argues that the game has lost value, or needs to be fixed...etc.

I suspect it was planned well before now to do this.. honestly thought it was odd they're having the free SWTOR weekend too.

I really WANT to play multiplayer this weekend. However I'm not going to out of a personal stand. I encourage anyone else who wants to not do it to join in but I'm not going to think any less of anyone who plays.. Some people have very limited gaming budgets and I wouldn't expect them to give up a major one just because the ending sucked and needs to be rewritten, if you enjoy it, play it. If you feel the ending being rewritten is worth giving it up for do so, if not don't. No pressure, no moral "KITTENS WILL DIE IF YOU DO THIS". Just stay true to whatever you say.. don't play if you said you wouldn't or vice versa...though why you would do that is beyond me haha.
