I'll be honest, I really want to play ME3 again.  I just can't get past the ending.

Sadly... I'm on my 4th playthrough, I just turn off the sound as soon as Anderson dies, and skip as much dialouge as possible, then go and destroy everything... v,v I'm kinda a sucker for punishment aren't I... I keep crying after the end... and all the other times someone dies.... Mordin, Thane, Anderson... :crying:

The N7 weekend is a joke. And we're the punchline.

To any of you people willing or wishing to participate in this BS know that all you're doing is taking a momentary satisfaction to the detriment of what we all want, a real ending.

This N7 thing lasts for a weekend, the ending will last for years. Which one is more important to you?

Agreed. If you're playing the game Bioware knows you arn't serious. Only when their sales and traffic crash will they take notice.

even though theres the potential to unlock rare weapons, I almost see them as weapons of weakness. Cause you participated in raising their stats.
Although I do like multiplayer, just not the ending... it's a very tempting offer. It would not affect my stance on the movement however.

It may not affect your stance but it will affect how seriously we're taken

I'm working on perfecting my ultimate ME 2 playthrough, hoping that by the time I finish that and my DA:O playthrough we'll at least have confirmations on the endings....

what worries me is the (Throughout the next year). We cannot allow them to stall and push off a ending. Ill work with them but it needs to be the TOP priority on DLC

I agree, while its noce to know that they'll be giving us stuff throughout the year, they'd better give me the End before I'm going to buy anything else...

The only DLC i'll be getting is the ending DLC, and then we'll see where I go from there. I don't even have the From Ashes DLC I was waiting to see if I liked the game before I gave BioWare any extra money. Since the ending has killed any replay value I gave that money to the Child Play fund.

I was confused to have a random soldier I had never seen before listening to my Shep's final speech with the rest of the team. Turns out that's where Javik is supposed to stand and he was just a place holder. The random soldier guy did seem very happy to be in the A teams company so good for him.

As much as I'd like to continue on with my Vanguard through ME2 I'm not going to touch any of the games until an ending DLC is confirmed.

This hurts me.

Actually that's a surprisingly efficient method of improving one's command of a foreign language.
I'm playing ME in German, for aural practice.

I play mine in English lol
But hey, that's a foreign language to me.

Honto?  What's your native language then? (I took Japanese for the first three years in High School, I still know bits and pieces, but can't understand most of it anymore... after 3 years of not seeing/hearing it)

As my fleet tells you, I am Brazilian. So I speak Portuguese. ^_^

My dad lived in Brazil when he was young! o.O I've never heard him speak any Portuguese though... And you know Japanese? Wow! I also know a bit of French, but barely any, not even enough to ask for anything... v,v

I'd like them to do like Bethesda did with FO3 and annouce a DLC roadmap when they get around to talking about it. Even if no ending changes are coming, I'd rather know what's coming out and when from the outset than wait for each to release before hearing about the next.

The only thing that worries me is the feedback thread that the community managers put up. I see a lot of people asking for what amounts to their own personal endings, and that's the kind of thing that's just going to make Bioware say "see? this is why we went with the ending we did."

Also, I see a lot of requests for extensive LI reunion/endings, which goes with the above but also pushes things a bit to far towards "unicorns and rainbows" for my tastes.

I know a lot of people want Shepard to find happiness with his/her LI in the end, but that's the kind of thing I feel Bioware could sucessfully leave up to our imaginations. Probably not the popular opinion around here, but that's just my two cents.

Hey, y'all -

I just kinda wanted to say I'm pretty proud of everyone for how they've been handling themselves tonight. With Casey's post earlier this evening and then Jessica's comments and especially in the 'Suggestions' thread. There's been a lot of information, some conflicting messages, and would be really easy at this point to start breaking ranks and start squabbling amongst ourselves, but I have to say, the response has been almost entirely what I've come to expect from this group - coherent, civil and cohesive. Really proud of you all, proud to be with you.

Hold the Line.

I will not sacrifice my Shepard. We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our sagas, and we fall back. They assimilate entire franchises, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no farther! And we will make them pay for what they've done!

It took my Shepard 3 games to finally say "I love you" to Liara, and now the Commander cannot be with her?

I've said it before, but it is most likely only a stall tactic. We've got to continue to hold the line for the future of the little blue babies.

Goodnight everyone....and before I go, I'll post this spoof I made today (again. :bandit:). I think it came out better than I expected. I know some of you don't like these 'meme's, but here's a reinterpretation of one of the most notorious:
In A.D. 2186 war was ending.
[The Reaper defending the Portal is defeated]
Shepard: What happen ?
Anderson: Somebody set up us the beam.
Garrus: We get signal.
Shepard: What !
Anderson: Holo screen turn on
Shepard: It's You!!!
CASPER: How are you gentlemen !!
CASPER: All your mass relay are belong to us
CASPER: You are on the way to ending
Shepard: What you say !!
CASPER: You have no chance to meaning, pick color
CASPER: HA HA HA HA ....
Shepard: Take out every magic gun
Shepard: You know what you doing
Shepard: Move magic gun
Shepard: For great ending

I just posted this really great article and brought up Dragon Age: Origins' ending in my post on that thread.

You probably know more than you think.
And yeah, I lived in Japan when I was younger, and it is my major in college now. :)
(and in case you are wondering, I live in the US)

And on a side note: I have sent the invitation to the Japanese gamers. Let's hope they join us. They aren't happy about it at all; they even said it didn't matter who they romanced because everyone was going to die anyways.

Could be. When I posted I tried to hit the key notes that had to be changed IOM and then Give an example. But I dont expect theyll follow it word for word. But so long as they fix it Im cool with how they want to interpret it. Just so long as its fixed.
