We're more than a fanbase. We're customers. We have rights afforded under international laws. We have rights afforded by the sense of good business. It's time we stopped taking on the monicker of squealing teenager girls and adopted something befitting our maturity and diversity. We are customers first, fans second.

Agreed.

And look how united and organized the bsn has become (as well as stayed civil and to the point). That is proof enough of that. We are customers first, and all we get is being dissmissed as overly eager fans.
It's not going to work because as customers most of the people here will no longer support products from a company they feel abused their trust (and money spent).

It's not about casey's, but it is a good point of view in relation to their current PR. Here

Slightly lied. Now I'm really off.

It would be really ironic if they release a Marauder Shields multiplayer dlc.

I ACTUALLY BELIEVE they should once they fix the ending. People would actually buy it to look back and laugh about this. Like I said they should fix the end then release Marauder Shields as a multiplayer character. Heck I would buy it in a heart beat. It is just great marketing.

You may still be in the fight on "BSN", but if you really want to win and make a difference, you need to win in the real battleground, the gaming media, where you've been getting decimated, and in my opinion have already lost.

Why ought the 'gaming media' be conquered? Why do we have to convince them of anything?

Is it because the gaming media holds the true measure of public opinion?

Isn't public opinion rather being shaped, by whatever interest relationships that 'media' already is in? Why does every big-budget game get a 9.5/10 rating? Instant public approval?

How do you suggest people on this thread convince 'pro reviewers' who don't even bother to play to the end?

We're talking directly to the developers here. Why are you promoting this two-headed beast? Is BioWare going to ask for IGN's permission, to release DLC?

This isn't about Anderson's running animation anymore. We were sold an incomplete product. The moment people awakened to this, ALL bickering about textures, and animations, and whatnot came to an end. This is a serious matter.

And, as others have pointed out, when everything gets reduced to hard-cash-talk, you won't find the people who make the decisions reading super-gaming-mag-X; they might look at Forbes, for instance.

Also haven't we gotten the attention of major gaming media? I thought that was all said, and done.

Hear hear!, why can't I be as clever and eloquent? I always seem to come off like a whiny bugger. Ah well tis the price of being stupid I guess.

I will still hold the line anyway.

Yeah imagine if it came with the ending dlc. That would be a great way of getting your fans laughing instead of raging.

Personally, I think the problem with the ending can easily be rectified with a "post-ending" DLC involving Shepard finding a way to rebuild the mass relays and reuniting with the Normandy crew.

My biggest beef with the ending, though, would actually be in regards to the post-credit scene. In demonstrating that people are still incapable of space-flight in that scene, the game literally forces one ending down your throat; it is far more restrictive than even the minor deviations offered by the choices over use of the crucible. Had the post-credit scene not existed, it would have been possible to some extent to use your imagination to fill in the blanks of the story.

tl;dr: Make DLC involving fixing mass relays & finding Normandy. Remove post-credits scene.

The other problem with the post-credit scene is that it's only purpose might be.....that it's an Easter Egg. Which doesn't make any sense and therefore I don't know HOW seriously I should take it....but I've decided to completely dismiss that scene anyway.

If they release Marauder Shields dlc (after fixing the ending of course),that's what I call GOODWILL. If they do that they would've turned me back to "my firstborn, take it!" perception of any Bioware game

Hello, just woke up!
I've read Casey statement. Don't know what to think about it.
Is it another PR crap?
Unfortunatelly, i have a strong feeling that they not going to do anything about the ending. They are so proud of this crap...
I don't know.. May be i'm stupid and can't comprehend the artistry and beauty of this ending? May be they are right?
I think, i just go away for a while and get some drink.

I wouldn't exactly discourage someone to buy the game. I would warn them that unless they make exacting choices, they won't get even a teaser of a decent ending after the awful endings.

The games are phenomenal right up till the end of 3. And 3 has such compelling stories in it that I would still suggest people buy the game, just stop playing after you say your goodbyes to characters on earth.

I'm not one of those people that think boycotting a company's product is the right course of action. My woman logic may be flawed but I just can't see a company willing to compromise for us if they were to stop making money. Money is they motivator and imo, they might be *more* willing to work with us if they have a (monetary) reason to. I don't expect everyone to agree with me, it's just how I feel.

I discussed ME3 tonight at dinner with my gaming group. Some of them are playing it, some haven't played one. We had a brief discussion over how awful the endings are but then moved on to a happy discussion of the wonderful characters and poignant moments of the game. I loved 9/10s of the game so I'm not feeling like my expense was *completely* wasted.

Hmm I think it was Liaras bartending "father" that at one time suggested the asari build their own mass relays so it wouldn't be unprecedented in game lore.

Well, Bioware did release The Darkspawn Chronicles DLC for Dragon Age. Instead of Darkspawn, we could play as M. Shields trying to stop Shepard from getting to the beam.<3 That would be their idea of ending DLC.

There are SSSSSOOOOO many ways to come out of this shinning with Customer and fandom love and they refuse to do it. All they would need to do is release the ending and officially announce it; then make the Marauder Shields multiplayer dlc as a form of "What we did was kinda fail heres the character joke you guys made and lets call it even" But no they havent really said a word and are addressing it officially. I don't want to hear "We are talking feedbacl" there is PLENTLY OF THAT in front of them.

Yet another AMAZING idea! We could play from the Reaper perspective and STOP Shepard. Lets face it...sometime its fun to play villian.

I was saved by maruader shields, not once but twice.  as i stood broken and bleeding wondering why the world had slowed down he shot me and I was grateful for it.  At least I think he shot me, well he killed me anyhow.  and I was grateful for it.  I'd always heard you should stay away from the light.... well....he knew.

That's why I hold the line.

I honestly don't care if this is bull****ting from them. The point is that their stance has changed from "we'll listen but say nothing" to "Crap! We have to say SOMETHING!"

We're making an impact. Don't give up hope. We have held the line, and now it is moving!
