My friends, I'm sorry to be the one who broughts you this. You can find this anyway on the Mass Effect 3 news and anouncment forums:

Just like Shepard at the ending of ME3... we have to deal with what we are offered

This has been dismissed as a PR ploy..

Yes. Casey Hudson's statement is not definitive in whether or not we will get what we want. It's PR doublespeak. Once he says "sorry, but we are sticking with the current endings and will not be releasing new ones" then I will admit defeat. Until then, HOLD THE DAMN LINE!

did Casey Hudson's post kind feel like a slap in the face to anybody else? It made me feel even more alienated. and the whole part where he quotes sites that gave ME3 "great reviews" was like he was trying to be like "hey guys...it really is good...see?! they said so..."

I think I might have just lost more of my love for Bioware....

Casey Hudson's letter really upset me. It felt really condescending, like he was saying "all these smart people really like the game and all you lesser people are just being emotional." I know that wasn't his intent and I'm just being sensitive but yeah, his letter left me a little depressed. And from his comments it's clear that they are not really listening to us.

I remember right around the time Skyrim came out I was talking to some co-workers, I work in a call center and there are a lot of gamers that work in tech support. Anyway we were talking about how excited we were for Skyrim and somehow our conversation turned to the companies who's games we like best. They all really loved Bethseda games and I mentioned that I loved Bioware games. They were amused at that, the general attitude was that Bioware used to create great games but that while they still make good games they aren't nearly as good as they used to be. And I defended Bioware, I defended Dragon Age 2. Even after finishing ME3 I defended Bioware when friends who were also disappointed with the end said our movement was a waste of time, that Bioware didn't care if we enjoyed the endings they already had our money.

I'm really trying to be patient with Bioware but it's starting to feel like more and more like they really don't care if we enjoyed the ending. ME3's ending left me soured on the Mass Effect franchise. Now Bioware's response is starting to leave me soured on Bioware.

Yeah, I always ignored IGN, Kotaku etc to begin with. I just never liked the way they reviewed.

Now I have nothing but hatred towards them.

They have made enemies in all of us.

Let's not let them forget that.

Hold the line!

IGN I didn't mind. They are so big they will have some that disagree with us, and some that agree with us.
I did find that dudes video slightly arrogant and narrow minded. But They have had articles that agree with us too..

Kotaku I used to enjoy. But most of their articles about us just seem to be full of bias and hatred.. If they disagree with what we are doing, or they just dont like it, I don't think that should allow for that kind of "journalism".

If someone disagrees with us - thats fine. It's their choice and I'm not going to argue with them. But you can't argue with the good its done for Childs Play.. But they mostly like to ignore that little fact and focus on the hate.

I think they are just jealous.

*I've had a few drinks.. I apologize if this doesnt make sense.

I wish I could guys... It's not that I want an inmediate answer from BW.  It's just that everything seems to point that we are getting no EXTENDED endings (I gave upon the hope of new DLC endings as it is highly unlikely we will get any... but at least release some content explainning what happened to the rest of the races in the galaxy, if earth recovered, how or squadmates survived etc. through some kind of "director's cut" DLC ending ). And it's really hard to Hold the Line for me now.

Like general Patton would say, right now I feel "The last soldier [waitting] to be killed by the final bullet of the final battle of the final war"

Oh man I'm watching my dad play ME3 and he's on Thessia (sp?) and Shepard's all like "You're either with me or against me" "Destroy the reapers" "there is nothing gray about that" ect....it makes me sad, the ending is like totally contradictory to what Shepard is saying through out the whole game.

Phoenix AZ reporting back in. I don't think I'm gonna have to ask my usual question of "What happened in the last X hours?" That sticky thread is, in my opinion, a massive victory for the RetakeME3 movement. Now, I will ask, hopefully from someone gracious enough, what has been the overall reaction in the last 2 hours since they posted that? Just to get a sense of where my brothers and sisters in arms are at?

It's not a victory at all people it's just a PR run around to make us all feel better, calm down and start buying **** again. Keep on the walls.

They're only asking us to come out because we got'em scared. So keep your heads, keep on your feet, read fanfiction for those of us that this really bugs, or write some till you feel better and keep in the fight.

Heck I'll even let you lot borrow some of my ink

I was at a friend's place yesterday, and watched him play ME3 one the PS3 (he hasn't finished the game yet). I tried to support him as best as I could, answering his questions about certain game mechanics, and I felt so empty inside because I knew exactly what all of this is leading up to. =(

This is what it's like for me watching my dad play it, he works a lot so he's not finished it yet and it breaks my heart to see his excitment about the game, even though he knows the games has a bad ending. Maybe he's hoping it's not as bad as I say?

So there.  A friend keeps badgering me about disliking the ME3 endings, when he hasn't touched the game.  It sits on his shelf, and I hope he is happy.

Yeah, the enthusiasm is the most painful thing. I know how I felt when I was in the game where he is now. He doesn't even know that the ending is horrible because he doesn't follow the BSN or gaming media, and I would never tell him because I don't want to spoil his experience with the game. He's probably going to murder me when he finds out.....

I was wondering the same thing Hitman all of a sudden this thread just died.

I'm still here holding the line and being hopeful for some response eventually from Bioware on what they intend to do about this whole mess.

Edit: To beyondsolo, I couldn't help telling my dad it just sort of burst out before I realised what I was saying. At least he is forewarned though, I was completely taking by disgust and ended up in a state of depression.
