So we can't get the ending we want after all?

At this point I'm not holding the line, I'm in full Krogan on Krack mode, trying to headbutt Harbinger in the lazor.

Why did Shepard have to pretty much electrocute herself to control the reapers. Wouldn't it have just been easier and more efficient if the Catalyst said, "Oh by the way, here's the reaper code. Press these buttons to override them. Good luck!"
Just a thought.

Hey welcome Death of Seph. Get your gear and find a place on the line. I know what you feel. I've never done anything like this to be honest. Joining a fan movement that is. I thought the outcry was overblown and had to be nitpicking Bioware haters. ME3 was awesome! Then I got to the end. And now I'm holding the line with these guys.
Thanks, I am usually a dedicated lurker but this whole thing just... I dunno.
I have had some very detailed discussions with someone who liked the ending, they felt it was a natural end for their Shep and it seemed to make sense to them. I respect their view and experiences, but it really hurts that my Shep was stuffed into the same conclusion even though he was very different to theirs. The choices and decisions I made throughout the series boiled down to nothing...
Seeing my squad lost in space with no hope of return? That makes no sense to me regardless of Shep.
Damn, made myself sad again thinking about this.

The mass effect universe for me is tainted by the endings (?) of ME3.
Nothing I ever did in the series matters.
I have over 10 Shepards that will now collect dust. I can't play this game, it's futile.
I know exactly how you feel, its the same for me.
I can't even bring myself to play me1 & me 2 again

Same here. I had 2 more plays planned stright away. 1 was taking my most recent ME1 and ME2 replay (because I played them in a row and not that long ago), to have a feeling of the story. And then a straight replay of all the games, to REALLY have that flow of the story.
Now I just can't make myself to do this. Or play any other game. I just... can't.

I there with you. BioWare is my top favorit game company of all time. There are very few games they made that I don't own. 2nd for me (a tie) are Bethesda and Obsidian. But not as nearly. I don't go "ooooh a Bethesda game" or "ooooh an Obsidian game". I do so with BioWare. I preordered everything they were letting out (well, not everything, since there are few games I'll never play like that sonic something game).
I am doing this, because I respect BioWare and because I know they listen to us. And because I don't want this to change. Yes, I maybe am just one consumer and my money aren't going to change much, but I know I'm not the only one.

This is probably true. Though the game itself was wonderful until that end. Nerfnow has been making some good jabs at the whole situation from a fan's standpoint be sure to check out some of the older ones for a good chuckle.

Greetings,
Nala
They no they aren't Nala - pacific fleet just came online a long with more of UK and European fleets; I have a feeling more and more ranks will be flooding in.
I mean its been 2 days; and Japanese forums exploded on the first day nicknaming it Rent Effect.......that says a lot.
Pacific Fleet knows about war and not giving up; look what happened with NGEThey are major asset. Don't let them distract you - don't let them bribe you with shinies......
No one is left behind........HOLD THE LINE
Do you have more news about the Japanese?
about 300 pages back; there were folks translating Japanese forums - that's was the nickname that's being pushed Rent Effect from Japan.....
They were like wth is this ending? Japanese aren't afraid to do bittersweet endings........but they know how to do them; and do them well......
HOLD THE LINE
Yeah i don't think Japan will dislike the ending becasue every single japanese film I have seen hasn't ended until almost everysingle character is dead.
