So we can't get the ending we want after all?

the funny, what pissed most people off is that we couldn't question our lovely SPACE GOD CHILD about the solutions in further depth, we should have option, you fail starchild, time to get out and leave us alone
Yeah, for a second I even tried to shoot him, obviously it wasn't a proper choice :/

Pfft. He was a projection of my subconscious. I spent the whole time trying to reabsorb him.

So what's the general feeling over Casey Hudson's statement?
It means nothing, and is just a PR attempt to get us to shut up and go away.
At this point any decision as to if they need or should produce and release an ending DLC (assuming that the rumour of such a DLC aleady existing is false) does not rest with him. That decision rests with his bosses, who will at some point have to decide if the cost of making such a DLC is less than the damage that would be caused by not making it.
At the moment the issue isn't going away, the calls are getting louder and louder and coming from multiple angles. So they HAVE to make a decision one way or another soon.
Keep holding the line.

Yeah, I'm just a bit wary of anything with death threats of any type, even humerous ones. Example, an EVE Online player told a Dev to DIAF and got permabanned for it.

Since i play Eve i know what you are talking about

Don't know if this has been posted, but one of the German leading PC games magazine "Game Star" issued a short report on their web page about the charity and our cause:
www.gamestar.de/spiele/mass-effect-3/news/mass_effect_3,45851,2565923.html
It is important to say that Game Star explicitly stressed in their ME3 review that the ending is definitive and no open questions are left.I am wondering if they played the same game as we had.
I know exactly what you mean. And especially the comment of Daniel Graf was it ? Was SO out of place!
But hey the Gamestar community is a bunch of flamers and the reporters are paid anyway...
We have so often seen ratings that have to be paid like the current COD or Battlefield.
But i wont start this discussion again.
So hold the Line people SSV Leipzig out

Never posted on the forums before so here it goes. I just feel like this is not how mass effect should end! This is not how I want to remember the franchise, it deserves so much more!
I have played ME1 around twelve times, and I have played ME2 just as much, so it goes without saying that I have invested heavily into this universe.
So, when I finally came to the end of ME3 I was just baffled that that's how they decided to end the story. It just felt completely out of place and left so many plot holes.
I just don't understand what happened!? I really felt like this was going to be the masterpeice and then the last 15min ruined it completely. Where were my choices?
I always imagned that at the end of the ME3 Commander Shepad would be broken down, that all hope would seem lost. Maybe one of your squadmates would say something like "It's over... we lost..." and that Shepard would go something like "No! I have come to far, accomplished too much for it to end like this!".
Then Shepard inspires everyone to do one last push, one last dessperate move and that's when all your important decisions that you've made along the way would come into play.
And if you've played your cards right, you would get that improbable ending where you survive against all odds.
For me that's what Mass Effect was all about. Overcoming impossible obstacles by uniting and working together, seeing beyond speices or gender and never compromising your core beliefs, be it renegade or paragon.
Anyways, after finishing the game about five days ago I'm just emotionally devastated.
But after coming here and reading how all you guys feel. Well, it makes me feel so much better knowing i'm not the only one who is confused and sad.
(ps. I had no intention of writing this much when I startedguess I needed to get this out of my system)
Thank you all for making me feel better!
<3 from Sweden
I will hold the line!
Welcome.
Also, I agree with you 100%. Could just as well have posted that myself, nice to see more swedes upset about the ending. Feel like I'm the only one around these parts.
Hold the line!

What's the point of having a magic pistol with unlimited bullets and no cooldown if you can't use it to shoot the one thing you want to shoot most...

Well, just having this will take some time. But BW had react much more faster than for the DA2 fuss. So it might be in a week. Maybe within the month if we are loud enough.
