Is that what I think it is?  Did she change her back ground from femshep to retake mass effect?

Oh, no.
That's the tumblr page for Retake Mass Effect, not Jessica's twitter.

Hey, if you're gonna rip off a game, rip off Deus Ex.

Just don't rip off that part of Deus Ex.

I know this is nothing new or what haven’t been said so far, just to share my thoughts. I have bought the Final Hours on ipad yesterday and went through it. I had the impression that BW has put a lot passion into the game, and they really wanted to give us a fantastic game, incorporating fan feedback, but the leaks and the time pressure did not help the situation. (…so many good scenes cut out) As for the game ending, I think they were sincerely convinced that it will be OK. Now they are shocked over the reactions and try to do damage control as any big company would. This will, or is already, hitting their sales numbers and the reception of any ME related products in the future. I, for sure am not interested to replay the game, or buy any new content because I’ve lost interest after such a flat ending. And they know this. I cannot imagine that they will leave us, fans, without a proper remedy to this outrage about the ending, even if they defend the current product they know it could mean to the unsuccess of the franchise and any new MR related releases.
Hold the line!

On top of that there will be at least 50k people not buying any DLC and that's not including the people who don't buy DLC anyway so out of the hardcore customers (note the use of customer instead of fan) few will be buying anything that isn't a fix to this faux pas of an ending and even then if it is payed DLC there is gonna be a whole...whole lot of pirating.

Hold the line.

Agree. I think the 50k is even underestimated. There a lot of people who does not come to the forum, and does not actively participate in this movement. For sure there are a lot of new people coming ( like me, who never posted here before this) They have very deatailed statistics from the gameplay data and I think people with our opinion about the ending can easily exceed 50% of the RPG gamers; the ones who imported a ME1 game into ME3 according to statistics. (54%) That could result in hunderds of thousands of people.

Indeed!  My facebook account has at least 15 people that agree with me who I guarantee don't have accounts here.. I've only talked to two of them because I prefer to not flood my family/friends with angry rants haha.  I limited myself to one post about the awful ending (which ended up with nearly 90 comments), and one about the Child's Play charity run.  Some of them are still upset posting on FB about it.. Things like "Why Bioware Whyyyyyyy?" and "Hey Bioware -- you forgot to give me the ending to my game.  Plz send it asap"

That's why I think they will do something about it. It may not be soon, but eventually it will come.

Sent my email to Bioware. Hope that it matter something to them

"
Bioware,

Probably, I'm more one of the fans of the game to write an email to you. However, I'd like to write this email to you so I could say to you my thoughts.

-snip- Sadness that all that I did was for nothing. And why not a happy ending? One of the reasons is all of us play video game is to be the hero and forget a little of our real world problems. Every day I see murder cases, corruption and poverty stuff here in São Paulo, Brazil. I have to be careful we I go out, because I can be Kidnapped, killed or robbed. Gaming is a way to release pression, to forget a little about your problems and achieve something happy or to know that your choices and hard work mattered. Some tears are getting out of me right now. How stupid, a 20 years old guy, at the end of his college course crying. But when something matters to you, this happens.

I'm writting this email not only because I'm anger or sad because the ending was not what I expected. I'm writting because it matters to me.
I want to thank you for your time. I know that a lot of people are writting, pariticipating right now on BSN (#retakemasseffect), facebook and twitter to get a new ending, not only a happy pink butterfly ending, but one that our choices matter and you can choose to achieve a sad/"real" ending or a happy/unreal(maybe) one. But we all are doing that because this matter to us. If the game did not mattered, nobody would be writting emails, talking about or asking. They would simply sell the copies and never play anymore. We are doing this because it matter to us. Please listen to us, and give us a better ending

I want to thank you again for your time and to say sorry about any gramatical erros. My written english is a bit rusted.

Sincerely,"

I salute you, sir. There is no shame in emotion.  The world is a crap place a lot of time and some people game to feel better not worse.  I think that is a wonderful email.

This +1, I mentioned way back in the thread that reality pretty much sucks, I don't want despair and hopelessness in my games too, it's not a good thing to promote, perhaps when I was younger I would have been happier to accept a tragic ending, but Shepard has earned a happy ending, I don't even need to explain why.  People that don't want one, don't take it, then there is a choice right?  It should have been an option, I wanted to grin like a retarded monkey at the epicness of the ending, I just couldn't do that.  There is a part of me that appreciates the tragedy and sees the beauty in it but in this case it doesn't win out.  I had the worst possible ending, I staggered past my dead soul mate (Kaidan) and best friend (Garrus) and proceeded to vapourise everything much to my horror.  In a world as screwed up as this one we need a lot of positivity...where is it?

I'm kind of spamming on FB because of the end...

I don't FB however my sister was kind enough to post at retakeme3 for me just to you know, add to the count.  she has since been getting stuff from non BNS members also.  I know it gets thrown around alot, but the statistic for every 1 angry vocal customer there are 10 angry nonvocal customers is correct.  I have a 10 page research paper to prove it.  Another interesting fact, there is a site that tracks customer service and companies with a history of supportive customer service have higher stock prices.  While the current economic mess makes it impossible to currently attribute what we are doing directly to EA stock, it will eventually make itself felt.  As inflation increases here in the states and necessities increase like food and gas, that leaves less for entertainment.  If I have to choose less entertainment, I'm going with the company I trust.  Good customer service is about relationships, I trusted Bioware.  I don't anymore.

I'd just like to encourage everyone here to tell Bioware, in this thread, why they felt the ending was bad. Flood them with feedback. As detailed and as thoughtful as you can be. I'm writing my response, and I imagine it's going to end up being a few thousand words long in the end - I'm turning my law student analytical skills against this. That's what we need right now.

And remember - remain civil. We need to show BW that we are reasonable, intelligent people with a grievance. We need to show them that we're willing to fix this.

It's a stall tactic. If they've been listening they know what's wrong with the ending.

"For the last eight years, Mass Effect has been a labor of love for our team; love for the characters we’ve created, for the medium of video games, and for the fans that have supported us. For us and for you, Mass Effect 3 had to live up to a lot of expectations, not only for a great gaming experience, but for a resolution to the countless storylines and decisions you’ve made as a player since the journey began in 2007. So we designed Mass Effect 3 to be a series of endings to key plots and storylines, each culminating in scenes that show you the consequences of your actions. You then carry the knowledge of these consequences with you as you complete the final moments of your journey.

We always intended that the scale of the conflict and the underlying theme of sacrifice would lead to a bittersweet ending—to do otherwise would betray the agonizing decisions Shepard had to make along the way. Still, we wanted to give players the chance to experience an inspiring and uplifting ending; in a story where you face a hopeless struggle for basic survival, we see the final moments and imagery as offering victory and hope in the context of sacrifice and reflection."

After reading that statement from Casey Hudson I have to ask did he play the game yet?
