Sent my email today, made a small but hopefully meaningful donation to chipin (just received my paycheck today). I'm feeling a little better these last couple of days, not depressed anymore. I was genuinely inspired by this video. Thank you for bringing me back to a time when Mass Effect was perfect. 

To be honest, I never liked that speech. It seemed way too hammy and over-dramatic for me. Now, because of all the "Hold the line" quotes, I associate it with RetakeME3 and am immediately filled with righteous fury. So thanks guys for not only trying to improve ME3 but for improving ME1 for me.

Be Polite the only "real" problem of this game was the ending, the rest was pretty much what i wanted

Don't give up Archeron.  For the past few days I've been switching between hope that all of this was somehow planned and depression that BioWare really did misjudge fan expectations so badly.

But regardless of the truth, I believe they do care about their players.  If we can continue to make our voices known in a civil, constructive way, then they will have to address the endings issue in a more concrete fashion sooner or later.

Keep up the good work everyone, the sheer number of intelligent posts in this thread prove you are not alone in how you feel.  There is hope.
