I just went over the gameinformer website to let them know that we do not support the person that started that lawsuit. They are portraying the entire movement in a very bad light over there over that person's actions. I would really suggest everyone here do the same thing so that everyone there does not get the wrong idea about us. http://www.gameinfor...#commentmessage
Guys, we need to respond to this. So please, take a moment to go over there and reaffirm that we don't support that action. Do so in a civil, mature manner
Refreshing for others to see.
I have to admit that i'm a little tired of people saying its "just a game". At 60 dollars its a product purchased with money that came from hours of work at jobs most people dont often like. Its not just a game. it is a bonafide, registered trademarked product, which was advertised as something that it turned out not to be. In nineteenth century america, there was a similar phenomena known as Snake Oil. Guaranteed to cure everything from Whooping Cough to bunions, snake oil became the reasoning behind the creation of the FTC ( after several people died from it )..
IF this product were freely given, then yes, it would be a game, like baseball, basketball football or soccer, but its not. you buy it in a store, off a shelf, and pay hard earned money for it. You have a legal right to be upset when a product is falsely advertised, as this product was, and going to the FTC, is NOT extreme, but in this case, it is very badly timed without even allowing Bioware their piece to make a statement and negotiate ways of rectifying the problem.
I will suppot this persons actions, but i will not support his/her timing. Give #TakeBackMassEffect ( us ) the chance to get to the negotiating table, and Bioware to recapitulate.
Be civil, be real, hold the line.
