Where are we on the Child's Play donations? I haven't checked in awhile and no one is linking it anymore. I'd say hold the line but it's being said in every post so I think everyone is :)

After centuries of worshiping the creator of the galaxy and all life on it, followers of The Shepard broke off into different cults, culminating in long, bloody and atrocious battles, war and crusades over whether he was Paragade or Renegon, and whether he truly loved Liara or Tali [insert appropriate LI where necessary].

Let Shepard die as a hero, so that future generations remember him as a galactic Hector.

Not a messiah. Because the 'messianic twist' comes at the last minute and it convinces no one; it's utterly hollow. Just like the Matrix 2-3 abominations.

How about we let him live as a hero..  Wall street parades, giddy girls and limosines too boot, or, better yet, how bout we allow for both endings, one where he dies, and one where he lives..???

You mean have multiple endings?

Damn. I wish Bioware had thought of that.

Ah yes, but it only becomes deep and meaningful when you ask yourself, which would ypu choose?? To live, Or die??.. Is it Jungian, or Existentialist?? :::lol::   I hear Nitsche was married. He lived in one country, and she in another, and they were both quite happy that way....

Ok. Now it's saturday and St Patricks day. I felt not like partying at all. It's a testament to the strength of the previous games and the first 95% of ME3 that this can affect me general mood like this. And to not understand what a colossal failurte it is to turn this feeling agaisnt themselves by cutting corners on the very ending, the most important aspect of a 5 year long product cycle. In the industry I don't think there is a precedent for this. It's coorperate failure on the highest level to let a singler/handful writers singular vision destroy a multi million dollar IP.

Same here. Don't fall for this. STAY  CALM!
Everybody has the riht to see it in his/her way. Shure, it would be better if we could discuss with the author.
But now its to late. STAY CALM AND HOLD THE LINE.

In case you forgot: STAY CALM. We're against space magic :wizard: not people critisizing us.

Don't lose sleep over it.. I got the feeling he's more upset that our PR department is better than his rofl.

Can you imagine the scene at BW HQ; OK, and we're paying the PR department how much to do what exactly?

 Please support our message:
  • The game's ending to meet what we were promised as consumers.
  • The game's ending fails to meet our expectations as fans.
  • The response from BioWare needs to change.
  • We have jobs, families, responsibilities. We dedicate our time to this cause because we genuinely care about Mass Effect and its story.
  • We want to see a product that we, as human beings, as consumers, as fans, and as players can be proud of.

Gotta let that one sink in. A movement of likeminded gamers and consumers of one company's products, in a little over four days organized well enough to have a PR department better than most large companies.

Think about that for a moment.

I'm not angry; as I said before, I just go to whatever of these I find or find out about, look it over, and type up a fact-filled post that is civil and mannerly.  Then I do not return; I let them come to their own conclusions :)

Then i got you wrong and everything is all right =]

Let's return to our duty:D

How about something to do with an actual visual representation of the "line"?
That could be interesting, I think.

Hey, guys, I have a question for whoever feels qualified to answer.

First a confession - I didn't have time to get a letter ready to mail today. I'd still like to write one, but at this point, it won't go out until Monday morning.

Should I still bother sending it then, or have I kind of missed the boat anyway?

Well Jessica's part of the BW PR team and she's awesome.. I've had no real problems with the PR team which means IF they're being shady super spies, they're doing a good job and not slipping up.  Personally I prefer to see the good in people and hope they're not.

Also I'm perfectly fine dangling the carrot for EA.  You give us our endings and I guarantee we'll be just as passionate PUSHING Mass Effect 3 for you as we are raging about it.  I mean think about it, we just raised $60,000 in less than a week.  I KNOW I'm going to buy every DLC available if they fix the ending.  I -love- Mass Effect.  I'll also be on my facebook pushing it til everyone in my friends list screams at me to go away haha.

I would think a visual representation would be
all the races that we know of in that galaxy stand together in a line formation via a panoramic view.
All of them pissed off and in the background is shepard in the rubble from the scene with him taking a breath.

Oh, well, I don't know.
An actual line?
Oh, I have an image in my head!
You know those cheesy scenes in movies in which someone kneels while holding a sword, and says something along the lines of "Here, have this sword! It shows how much we trust you!"?
You could something like that, with someone holding just a line, saying "Here, we trust you to hold the line.".
If it's possible to do something like that, of course.
