If you go see Javik after hearing Tali drunk you'll get that banter.

Ah yes now I remember it! Tali

Its 3:30am here so my brains a little....sleepy.

Go to sleep then, we don't want people falling asleep at their posts.

Yes, I can certainly understand that in the macro sense. However, I would argue that what they teach in Command College is geared more toward a conventional type of war (even taking into account World War III's doomsday scenario), and here Shepard is leading the effort to resist the total annihilation of all spacefaring species. Add to that the fact that Shepard, a mere commander, is mustering generals and admirals to her cause, and reporting directly to the Alliance Navy CIC.

I'll agree with that.  Shepard is a completely different case.. SPECTRE status included.  He/She's far more like a Captain Picard than a British Naval Captain.

Shepard's lighthearted banter aside, I think the dialogue with Ashley in ME3 really does make the distinction between her being an officer in this game and a senior noncom in Mass Effect 1. Assuming that a DudeShep didn't romance her, which violates every reg in the book. :P

Ugh, i might be drunk right now but i still cant understand how BioWare thought those endings would be sufficient. It doesnt explain anything and puts more questions in your head then anything. I really hope they expand on the endings or they just ruined a franchise in 15 minutes...so sad....:(

Sadly....there isn't a difference.

So basically, an entire part of the gameplay is invalidated?

Given how viscerally Yahtzee pummeled the endings of Deus Ex Vanila and Human Revolution (among other titles), it's probably a safe bet that he's gonna go ballistic when it comes time to commentating on ME3.

EPISODE 5: "The Importance of London"

In this episode we finally learn why London was so important to the Reapers. Not my greatest moment, but it took very little time to complete, so why waste it, right? The next one should be a bit more epic.

You know, it's been three years since I've activly participated in any kind of forum, and even though I joined BSN last year? I just can't sit back and lurk anymore. This thread moves a bit too fast for me to keep track of but I just wanted to say: I LUFFS YOU ALL! I remember coming here so I could look up just a few spoilers, cause I wanted my main Shep to have the best possible ending avalible to her... and then I found out there isn't one. Cue me not playing the game I pre-ordered for five days straight and then forcing myself to try and pick it up.

I shouldn't have to literally force myself to play ME of all titles! ...I also feel ashamed to say that I got my bestie into this series and now she has to deal with a crap ending. /sob

Yeah I always enjoy the romances, hopeless romantic irl haha.  Had to get over the fact that hooking up with a subordinate in a combat zone would get you thrown out quicker than buying the enlisted men a drink.

Take the Canadian Forces Brigadier who just got drummed out for it in Afghanistan last year.

I think the only difference is if you manage to get over 4000 or over 5000 EMS. Which means 8000-10000 TMS if you don't touch the multiplayer. Doesn't seem that this is even possible.

So, no. It doesn't appear to make any difference at all.

Do you have all five comics up on a single site? I'd love to show these to my girlfriend, who is an accomplished artist herself.

Well, by all means I'm not an artist, not even talking about that "accomplished" part. ;) If you look closely at these comics you'll see that they are indeed drawings over cut up screenshots, models and other references, slapped together in Photoshop with layers and layers of effects added on top, plus a pinch of Space Magic here and there. I know my way around PS and my tablet, but little above that. If you want to see all the comics in one place, visit http://koobismo.deviantart.com

Did them originally sober... didn't understand them at all

So watched them again tonight drunk after having fraps'd them originally, still don't get it.

Haven't done pot in years so not going to try the stoned approach.

iI've only ever had one thing like this in the past, when I watched the movie Seven, it made no sense sober, drunk or stoned /sigh.

Is there a special on the Sniper Rifle mods as well? Or do I still have to pay full price? (I love the Black Widow in the game, I'm always using it)

Seriously though, I love them.  They crack me up, it's like a subtle serious humour, reminds me of Red Dwarf hahaha

Don't worry, she does the same thing (in addition to very good line- and ink-work as well as digital colouring), and I remember you saying that after posting the first or second strip. Doesn't diminish your artwork in the least!

Reading old tweets from Casey Hudson and trying not to turn into a hot ball of rage.

"In #ME2 greater success meant more survivors. Same, on a bigger scale, for #ME3."
