Bethesda changed the ending of Fallout 3 with Broken Steel, due to fan outcry.

And, granted it's not a fan-outrage caused change, but Portal had its ending changed.

Yeah I knew that but that's what he said. But aren't any of you intrigued what this buzz is and where it came from? Hmm..on second thought it might just be another PR tactic but still!

Dunno if you noticed but I got a misison statement put together, a thread, and a poll all set up for it.

Statement:

We hold grievances with the current ending and EA/BioWare because:

• The game's ending fails to meet what we were promised as consumers.

• The game's ending fails to meet our expectations as fans.

• The response from BioWare needs to change.

• We have jobs, families, responsibilities. We dedicate our time to this cause because we genuinely care about Mass Effect and its story.

• We want to see a product that we, as human beings, as consumers, as fans, and as players can be proud of.

Bioware ALREADY changed the Mass Effect novels due to plot holes and continuity lol.

Yeah, I'll give you that. Granted, the guy sounds like he knows a lot about video games(or at least knows enough to be able to speak about them on national television), plus it looked as though he was broadcasting from a webcam in his own home. Probably a consultant of some sort.
