Looks like IGN has changed their tone.

So even they are beginning to falter, interesting. This means we are getting through and at least some at IGN are starting to think for themselves.

Gosh that article really does point out how lazy Bioware got with ME3. I always joked the Tali picture was taken out of a wal mart picture frame but I never knew it was true.

Honestly, I'm hoping for more than anything else that they'll speak up soon. And I mean officially, not all this deflecting speak and talking around us towards a general population that isn't even really listening. Gamers listen to their friends, and when you have a million people shouting to all their friends that the ending really is that bad, people aren't gonna go on IGN and tell themselves "Well...IGN says its good. Maybe my friend is full of it"

They have to realize this. And if they don't they're living in La La land. I'll stand here until I'm blue in the face demanding a better ending, but if Bioware keeps this ignoring us Bull**** much longer I think I'm done with them one way or another regardless of wether or not they fix the ending.

I don't know, I didn't mind the idle banter in ME2 or ME3. Don't get me wrong, I liked the banter in ME1 too... those elevators just took soooooo long. Idle banter is idle banter, and a good chunk of it is HYSTERICAL.

I don't either, you just have to pick the right people who will talk to each other. Also if you're going too fast they may just stop talking. That always makes me mad, because I have to reload the game to see what they said.

I recall there was a point in Mass Effect 2 that Garius said to Tali something like "Remember on those long elevator rides we would talk about things?" And she told him to shut up. :P

That was one of the only squad banter in the game. At least ME3 has a little more. Doesn't compare to DA:O and to a lesser extent DA2

Agreed. Companions in ME2 were very hit and miss. I wish they gave us the option of the original cast. ME1 was Brilliant. ME2 was a huge compromise to the shooter market and ME3 ended the same way a toilet backs up lol.

Oh yeah, I would have loved to play ME2 with ME1 cast. ME2 was almost perfect (except for romance...if you romanced Ash/Kaidan/Liara in ME1, of course).

Then ME3 happened and...yeah...:crying:

I feel like nothing that I did in the past changed ME3. There is only one ending: destruction and Shepard's death

Agreed. Call me childish if you want but I want a happy ending. If I wanted to be depressed I would visit my family lol.

Hahaha. I would turn on the TV and watch the news. There is a reason why we play these games, and that's usually because we get to control what happens.

And I don't think wishing for a happy ending is a bad thing; this is a game of choices and I think both live and die should be made available.

100% agree. As I've said many times before. You only get to end a Trilogy once, splurge a little and add something for everyone.

Omg, Mako. I HATED that thing with a passion. Wherever we were dropped off, we had to drive that thing. I died a bunch of times because it would flip upside down and it wouldn't move...

I'm pretty sure it'll flip back over if you just fire the thrusters.

When in doubt, JUMP!

See, I didn't know that. haha. Not until I died a couple of times. It was so annoying. I was so glad when they got rid of that thing.

So my friend and I were ranting about the endint to ME3 the other day. Where this became quite entertaining was when it was brought up about that last fight with the Banshees. We both were all "Damn, that fight? Such a PAIN!" Well, our wording was far more colorful, but you get the idea. After ranting about it and talking about our strategies my friend goes, "Want to join me in feeling like an idiot?"
Me: "Okay?"
Him: "I was telling my co-worker the same thing and he was all 'The hell is wrong with you? It was easy! There were heavy weapons everywhere!'"

To which, I laughed for a long while and then facepalmed. Neither of us knew about them, we still don't know where they are. Apparently his co-worker does.

Think of it this way - Bioware now has PR Firms working on damage control, if you want to call it that. We have become so loud that they are now baffled into doing deflection.

Hold the line people. I honestly think BW is on the brink of realizing that something really needs to be done. Don't falter just before the finish line.

That little space controversy the bottom confused me. Was Bioware sending their fans into Yosemite NatL park or something to get Mass Effect?

A week before launch Bioware/EA sent copies of ME3 into the atmosphere and whoever got to the games were they landed could have one.

They keep saying "some fans" or " the most hardcore fans".

No the majority of "fans" don't like the ending. If someone who only played ME3 is considered a fan, I don't really consider them a fan yet.

True but it's still progress for IGN.

@beetlebailey123 It made me feel better too.:D I probably unloaded at least a full clip into God Child/Harby

I hope Bioware does do something about the ending. They can keep that ending where Shepard dies, but they should also have a ending where he survives and lives happily with his/her love. I would love to have the option of either Shepard living with Tali on Rannoch, or Tali living with Shepard on earth.

Agreed =D I want to see Shepard with his LI in a happy ending  xD especially seeing as Tali is already picking out locations for her home with Shepard when you retake Rannoch

Seriously? Maybe it was the difficulty setting he was in...I didn't see any heavy weapons and I moved around quite a bit.

Dude I know that the general strategy for PR people is to bunker down until the storm abates somewhat. But this movement is unprecedented in scope or speed. That calls for a change to the usual game.

They can't openly admit "We ****ed up" it would hurt them in a buisness stand point, that's not what I expect or would want. But I do want them to come out and at least say "People please calm down. Lets sit down and TALK about this." Not having them "Listening" or "Appreciating the feedback"

Lets "Talk!" Engage in Discourse, speak to one another, converse, do something other than just try to smack us back down like loud dogs nipping at their fingers or stupid children throwing a tantrum. We're all adults here and its, in almost anyway you look at it, quite insulting.

I was struggling until I stumbled across a rocket launcher that was in the building to the left. Then 'Eye of the Tiger' began to play in my head and I won. :wizard:
