So my friend and I were ranting about the endint to ME3 the other day. Where this became quite entertaining was when it was brought up about that last fight with the Banshees. We both were all "Damn, that fight? Such a PAIN!" Well, our wording was far more colorful, but you get the idea. After ranting about it and talking about our strategies my friend goes, "Want to join me in feeling like an idiot?"
Me: "Okay?"
Him: "I was telling my co-worker the same thing and he was all 'The hell is wrong with you? It was easy! There were heavy weapons everywhere!'"

To which, I laughed for a long while and then facepalmed. Neither of us knew about them, we still don't know where they are. Apparently his co-worker does.

Seriously? Maybe it was the difficulty setting he was in...I didn't see any heavy weapons and I moved around quite a bit.

I'll leave him a facebook message to ask. Should be able to find out in 24-hours or less, I'll tell ya. :D

Omg, Mako. I HATED that thing with a passion. Wherever we were dropped off, we had to drive that thing. I died a bunch of times because it would flip upside down and it wouldn't move...

I'm pretty sure it'll flip back over if you just fire the thrusters.

When in doubt, JUMP!

See, I didn't know that. haha. Not until I died a couple of times. It was so annoying. I was so glad when they got rid of that thing.

I almost fell over the other day when a friend was talking about powers taking so long to recharge (he's still playing). I said drop your weight. He said,  "what? I only weigh 135."

I hope Bioware does do something about the ending. They can keep that ending where Shepard dies, but they should also have a ending where he survives and lives happily with his/her love. I would love to have the option of either Shepard living with Tali on Rannoch, or Tali living with Shepard on earth.

Agreed =D I want to see Shepard with his LI in a happy ending  xD especially seeing as Tali is already picking out locations for her home with Shepard when you retake Rannoch

That's one thing that annoyed me about the endings. Throughout the game (hell, throughout the series), they give you plenty of opportunities to talk about the future, what you'll do after it's all over, etc. and then they just snatch it all away from you in the last 10 minutes.

Just went through a second play-through to see what they put in the "secret ending". I had heard there was nothing there, but now it's confirmed...not a single thing different. Yet another promise broken. I shouldn't be surprised at this point, even with me holding on to the indoctrination theory...

Hold the line..

I was struggling until I stumbled across a rocket launcher that was in the building to the left. Then 'Eye of the Tiger' began to play in my head and I won. :wizard:

That's nice. It must be the difficulty settings...I didn't see any of that and I was in the building to the left for most of the fight (I was as far away from the Reaper as possible)

I feel... weird. I've been watching the entire new season of Family Guy(which I haven't seen yet) and I can't quit... I don't know... it's this weird thing where the corners of my mouth expand away from each other... I haven't done it since before I saw the ending of ME3...

Is this... smiling?

The first 10mins. of this gives some insight into why the ending may have been botched.

(I think he ought to get more likes and views.)

I've watched that too, and the thought of Harby being a final boss fight is...intriguing.

Here's my Amazon Review.

When I started this massive half-decade long adventure into the world of Mass Effect, it was one of most amazing games I had ever played. I was taken in by the lore, the story and the sheer bloody amazing effects that your choices can have on the storyline. I've played RPGs all my life - but never something like a Bioware game.

ME1 was fantastic. ME2 was incredible. Mass Effect 3 started out with the sense of urgency, desperation and epic proportions that made you feel like this was really a race to determine the fate of an entire galaxy. The graphics were definitely upgraded (the new hair for FShep was great - nice job with that)and the gameplay was similar to ME2 but had the new bonus of being able to reach around and grab someone from behind cover. That was endless hours of fun right there. You can now modify and upgrade weapons to some extent - which is a happy medium compared to the overwhelming pile of stuff that gathered in ME1. The story was, well, it was epic. (Although not being able to skip some scenes is a little annoying)

And then there was the last ten or so minutes of the game. This has a become a massive complaint and I'm reiterating it now because everyone needs to know that there are hundreds, thousands more like me who share the same opinion. This isn't a 'minority' or a 'group of hardcore fans', this is a lot of concerned gamers - concerned that Bioware is making a huge mistake when they've done so well in the past. First of all, the lack of a final boss was rather annoying and not being able to really have the real choice to save Anderson was a downer. 'Saving' him, according to IGN guide, was giving him a few more sentances before he died right next to you. That was it. Really? Anyway, moving on, Shepard gets floated up to some magical land where Space children can tell her/him what they have to do and Shepard just GIVES UP. Wait what? Shepard, the person who just united an entire galaxy, took down a Reaper with one gun, who died once and then came back, navigated Illos and the Omega-4 Relay and returned with a blown up Collector base? They just say 'okay' and pick one ending. Not 16 different endings. ONE ENDING. Doesn't matter how paragon or renegade,or what your choices were - same ending. Mass Effect has been built on Shepard doing the impossible and somehow Magic Space Child can just suddenly be like 'nope' and Shepard takes it?

That was the biggest complaint. A few minor complaints I have involve War Readiness decaying so quickly and the lack of straight Love Interests for Female Shepard. You get Thane (who dies), Kaidan and Garrus. That was it.

I hope BW does something so that I can go back to feeling how i did when i saved the quarians and the geth. seriously, after that moment I was smiling, and grinning like a knob, I felt like i had just watched my football team win the superbowl....and then came the ending. If I do play ME3 in the near future again, I'm just going to stop playing after the Rannoch mission, cuz that in itself could be the entire ending for me....that is unless BW does something about these endings

That was alot of fun. I've been forum warrioring on some other sites such as Forbes. Trying to respectfully explain why we have entitlements as customers and explaining how once a game gets a sizeable budget its a product first, art second, etc. As nice as it is to hang with you guys, most anything I say would be preaching to the choir.

Welcome aboard, resources abound about the movement in this post and others. We're always glad to see new people. We're here for you if you need it and we'll always be here to listen(though there's a chance your post might be missed with how fast things move sometimes).

*edit* Oh, don't forget the fundraiser!
At least give it a look, at most a couple dollars can't hurt. :)
