Agreed =D I want to see Shepard with his LI in a happy ending  xD especially seeing as Tali is already picking out locations for her home with Shepard when you retake Rannoch[/quote]
That's one thing that annoyed me about the endings. Throughout the game (hell, throughout the series), they give you plenty of opportunities to talk about the future, what you'll do after it's all over, etc. and then they just snatch it all away from you in the last 10 minutes.

Me too! After Shepard and Kaidan's final talk in London, I was sobbing cause I already was spoiled on what the ending would be. Seeing it for myself... heartbreak and emptiness. :crying:

So my friend and I were ranting about the endint to ME3 the other day. Where this became quite entertaining was when it was brought up about that last fight with the Banshees. We both were all "Damn, that fight? Such a PAIN!" Well, our wording was far more colorful, but you get the idea. After ranting about it and talking about our strategies my friend goes, "Want to join me in feeling like an idiot?"
Me: "Okay?"
Him: "I was telling my co-worker the same thing and he was all 'The hell is wrong with you? It was easy! There were heavy weapons everywhere!'"

To which, I laughed for a long while and then facepalmed. Neither of us knew about them, we still don't know where they are. Apparently his co-worker does.

I almost fell over the other day when a friend was talking about powers taking so long to recharge (he's still playing). I said drop your weight. He said,  "what? I only weigh 135."

HOLY... NO WAY! Buwahahahaha. Awesome. Ohhh thank you for that, it was a good laugh. Oh man.:D

HA that is hilarious.

Anyway, Northern California heading out! (At least this soldier is!)

Hold the line!:wizard:

That was alot of fun. I've been forum warrioring on some other sites such as Forbes. Trying to respectfully explain why we have entitlements as customers and explaining how once a game gets a sizeable budget its a product first, art second, etc. As nice as it is to hang with you guys, most anything I say would be preaching to the choir.

Yea... me to. Feel free to preach anytime. I'll listen.

OMG! I KNOW! My mom and I were sitting together crying because I knew Shepard would die no matter what (and so did my mom, because I was complaining about it all the way to the end).
And then...he was almost crying and that only made us cry more...Bioware, why did you do this to the ending?! :crying:

This is exactly how I felt, no wonder I have been so depressed, the ending is bad enough without the Kaidan moment to add to it. All his "If I ever lost you" thing broke my heart

So hows everyone doing? Any news or thoughts? No doubt in my absence Bioware has announced full free ending dlc and that they'll bake cookies for us as an apology for going silly during the development of the ending.

Yeah, mine too. Credit to Bioware's writing and crafting of their characters... but then why is the ending so horrid? It's not bittersweet, no matter what they say. It isn't even bitter... it's is just empty. Empty of all the emotion from the previous 99% of the game.

Yes this is so very very true, like you said it's not bittersweet nor is it bitter it's just empty and hollow (which is the same thing huh? lol)

Looks like IGN has changed their tone.

Cant blame them really, they're just trying to save their own reputation,  which at thioos moment, hangs by a thread not much less frayed than Biowares.

A small jump in both facebook "likes", twitter followers, and  child's play donation fund throughout the course of today (saturday).
No doubt the result of increased amount of players finishing the game with the extra weekend time.
Here's to hoping for another jump in statistics tomorrow!

Yeah, I couldn't see my television screen by that point cause my eyes were too glassed over with tears. Amazing, powerful moment that was just killed by the ending. Cause there is NO WAY Kaidan should be coming out of the Normandy with a smile on his face on some unknown jungle planet while the woman he supposedly can't live without is either dead or almost dead never to be seen again... WTH?

Checking in for the night! Anything new?

Also... What's the record for the highest post count? Maybe we can get bioware in the guiness book of world record for the most post on a single Internet thread?

Sadly, thats the one single realistic thing Bioware got right. I've buried far too many not to know.
Death doesnt happen to just the bad guys, it happens to us all. Young old it doesnt matter, we will all die, but more importantly, we will all live and dream and hope and plan, right up to the last moment. Perhaps it makes death even more painful because of that. Perhaps it helps the dieing to accept their demise. But yeah, Tali planning is as real as it gets. Theres a lot of Afghani and Iraqi war widows and husbands, that can tell you the exact same thing..

apologies. somehow my reply got blended with the above reply.

I'm told apparently there were a few threads on the BSN a long while back that hit 10000 pages, so no.

Thus again proving the point that the ending makes no sense what so ever. Also I was crying my eyes out at that bit so much, then you get the ending with that still in your mind which definitely makes you depressed.
