Honestly I range from optimism to the usual sense of pessimism.
I'd like to think, that at this point its only a matter of time. Fan outrage for Fallout 3 was a lot smaller than this and they changed the ending. This movement is an almost universal push to change these endings and alot of gaming sites are covering this to the point that its just getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
So yea, at this point, a part of me likes to think that its just a matter of time before they actually announce officially that yes, they will in fact, fix this royal ****up. This part of me is backed up by the cautious hope that this was all "planned" and the so called "Truth" DLC is really...well...the Truth.
Then comes the other part of me.
The one that crunches down hard numbers and stupid decisions.
If this was not infact planned and they need to start working on this DLC virtually from scratch, some idiot might decide "What is cheaper, to actually make an unplanned DLC from scratch that includes paying a whole team, voice actors, programers, script writers ect ect. Followed by the "Embarrassment" that they had to be the very first gaming company in history that was hammered into changing an ending because it was just THAT horrendous. Or to simply ignore the plan, call the money gained on the Mass Effect universe with just the preorder sales "Good enough" and scrap the rest of the plans, hoping that by the time their next game comes along that people will have "forgotten" about this (Haha ***** please!)
So yea. I don't know which is worse. I'm hoping and practically *praying* with everything I got that its the first. But if its the latter...yea...I'd rather not think about it.
