Or, if you'r Shep was only friends with Jacob, or with Thane, then the way they are portrayed are perfectly fine. But, if either of them was the LI, then it's not at all. Especially with Thane, he's entire personality change is just ignored. And Jacob, he would just rub it in your face that he's having a kid on the way.

And lol, sorry for pointing those out.

Jacob didn't seem the same at all even without the romance. Thane seemed a bit different too.

Well in the Liara romance, when she's talking about her little box  for the future she refers to Shep as a good friend, then another scene where she says I wish we could stay like this...just friends.. and then you can reply you want to be more than friends... even though you established that in ME1 again in ME2 LOTSB and in the beginning of ME3. I agree with this sentiment. I started a new playthrough so I could be with Liara (first I had to do tali :innocent:). I'm finding it unsatisfactory. Haven't reached the end yet, but when I bumbed into Tali I really wanted to just dump Liara. Hope it gets better.

The final 2 scenes with her are the best, maybe even the best romance scene. It kinda sucked at first the only cool part was meeting her dad.

For me, not really. I could have lived with all those small "lies", holes, changes, because the game was so enjoyable in itself. But because of the ending, I keep seeing all of those things that irked me.

i think that with a "good" ending, closure of this trilogy, i would never paid attention to this site and so many other describing the so many flaws is this apparent gem, but now i see them all

Small things here and there, some scenes don't make sense, Glitches where a door that should open doesn't, you can't import you save face on the 360, etc...

I couldn't import my face on PC (was one I had carried over from ME1). There is no controller support for PC (for a game released in 2012?).  There's no way to holster weapons. The helmet toggle on/off option is still broken. 

That's if I'm talking very small problems. I could go much bigger. I honestly wouldn't care about them if the game had ended properly. I would be too busy replaying all 3 ME games.

There was an awesome moment in the cerberus base where shepard breaks a bit and admits he thought he might have been a VI that thought it was shepard. and liara says " I knew from the first moment you touched me you were the real shepard" THAT was extremely satisfying.

The irony to all this is, whilst we were playing the game, certain that the Reapers were the biggest threat to the ME universe, it turned out to be Bioware themselves that destroyed it all.

maybe they think we all have a red fish memory lol, that was a little what i was thinking too, having constantly people reintroducing them, it's crucial for new players, but as it can easily track it's an imported game they could easily skip that line lol

I don't think any of them did, but they were kinda OK, if you didn't have the romance. But for example, when romancing Thane you notice all the things like - there is a possibility, even slight, that he can be cured. Thane that isn't LI, is OK with dying - he even wants to die. But LI Thane, because he is in love, he realises that he wants to live. And when you go to the citadel, he's an emotional robot "again", only preparing to die.

Jacob, I'm ok with him. I wouldn't be Ok with a playthrough where he boasts to his ex, that he's having a kid. Come on now.

Well I mean, you WERE grounded for three years. And he started to seriously die. That's a long time to hold out hope that he'd ever get to see you again.
