So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Small things here and there, some scenes don't make sense, Glitches where a door that should open doesn't, you can't import you save face on the 360, etc...
I don't recall any scenes not making sense, maybe if I played it again I would. I never notice stuff like that on a first playthrough to be perfectly honest. I noticed glitches but laughed at most of them, except the stupid crap frame rate on PS3 that sucks.
Well in the Liara romance, when she's talking about her little box for the future she refers to Shep as a good friend, then another scene where she says I wish we could stay like this...just friends.. and then you can reply you want to be more than friends... even though you established that in ME1 again in ME2 LOTSB and in the beginning of ME3. Makes no sense.
I had a Liara romance carried over from ME1. It had rekindled at the start of ME3 fine enough. After I made a move on Traynor though, the game decided I was no longer with Liara and never mentioned that Sheppard had a thing with her ever again. Couldn't talk to Liara about it, or anything.
Now I thought this was the issue that was going to be the moment that was going to ruin the game for me... Then I played the ending (Yes I keep turning everything around and make it about the ending. It is all about the ending.)

maybe they think we all have a red fish memory lol, that was a little what i was thinking too, having constantly people reintroducing them, it's crucial for new players, but as it can easily track it's an imported game they could easily skip that line lolDifferentD17 wrote...

Oh right yeah I did notice that one when watching my dad play it.
Also the Thane death scene. When you meet Kolyat, Thane's son, he acts like you've never met. "You might remember me" OF COURSE I REMEMBER you're the center of a whole loyalty mission. I won't even forget urinal turian. How could I forget you?
It's much worse if you're romancing him. "What the hell of course I remember the man I love's son."<_<

One thing before the ending that really really really annoyed me was the fact before release we were told MP wasn't necessary for SP. When in-fact the ending with the half breath is only achieved if you have played enough MP.
I didn't believe them so i played the MP like a maniac till i got 100% and then got offline to keep it that way.

The Traynor thing never came up for me, maybe it's because it already though Liara and I were in a relationship already, or maybe it's because I chose the renegade option first.

To be honest it did not actually matter much, did no mp, went into the final with an EMS of 3500 and still just missed the breath scene. Think i could have ignored alot of warrasset collecting along the way and it still would not have mattered.

Most of the problems I have with the ending(s) have already been said so I'm just going to say this: I'm holding the line!
Say them again and again and again. We need to remind ourselves and everyone why we are mad. Keep the energy up and focus it creatively.
My anger stems from having all of my deeds carry absolutely no weight in the end. My ending was stolen by the deus ex machina.

I replayed the three endings and I think I now understand. The endings are not actually bad specially the death of Shepard. It is in fact elegant and noteworthy. To those who are calling for a new ending I think you should stop now. There's nothing wrong with it. Your choices are sacrifice yourself to control the reapers and end the siege of earth and also end the reaper cycle, you sacrifice yourself and integrate with the reapers and create a new kind of sentient organic-ai organism, and destroy the reapers but there's no guarantee that there will be peace.
I'm just going to guess you haven't read any of the threads or writeups or seen any of the youtube videos explaining why we're doing what we're doing...

Thanks for sharing, but I disagree. And the controle option only delays the reaper cycle. If shepard started cracking under me3 there is no way he could hold onto control forever. And the synthesis ending is just racist.Gnaeus.Silvanus wrote...

...your choices still didn't matter, and the fate of the rest of the galaxy hasn't been told. We don't really have an ending.
I'll stop calling for a "new" ending and just call for an ending in general.

I don't think any of them did, but they were kinda OK, if you didn't have the romance. But for example, when romancing Thane you notice all the things like - there is a possibility, even slight, that he can be cured. Thane that isn't LI, is OK with dying - he even wants to die. But LI Thane, because he is in love, he realises that he wants to live. And when you go to the citadel, he's an emotional robot "again", only preparing to die.
Well I mean, you WERE grounded for three years. And he started to seriously die. That's a long time to hold out hope that he'd ever get to see you again.
You are only grounded for half a year.
He tells you on the Citadel that he was told 9 months ago, that he had only 6 (or was it 3) months to live. Which means that he already knew it when he joined Normandy in ME2.
