If I recall correctly as well, Blake's 7 at least showed you the characters getting shot and killed. They didn't leave it open to "speculation".

With space magic, anything is possible!

This is so depressing... lol Image IPB

All of us would pay for endings dlc.

I don't think I would. I already paid for the Collector's Edition. For me, the DLC has to be free - I won't let EA extort any more money out of me.

You would buy it, and like it.

Again, no...

I personally think this is more the attitude we should take. To say we'd be willing to pay for a new DLC is to compromise to a degree where they WILL charge us money for fixing their own mistake. I can think of few if any examples of corporate mistakes that they charge their customers to fix. Hell, even major bug fixes are free.

I'm with you, brother. To pay for something that should have been there all along will set a dangerous precedent that we would all come to regret in future years.

Enough time has passed now that my initial need to have closure on this ending is waning. I still want it. But I'm no longer desperate enough to pay for it.

Be strong everyone.

Geez, all this praise is starting to inflate my ego. God knows what will happen if I ever get a wikipedia page!Anyways, you make some excellent points, especially concerning the clarification of what a happy ending would entail. As for the limited 'choice'... this is just the way these kinds of games are going to be I think. I've posted a fair bit about this in the past, especially close to the time when I originally left BioWare. Games with voice over and cinematics are too expensive to make now. Multiple choices = content that not everyone sees. This is impossible to justify to executives/shareholders, especially when it actually doesn't increase sales. And the  BioWare games of today are selling better than the games from the 'early years'. I think sometimes though that makes people feel that *all* the lessons from those past games are irrelevant (because the newer games sell better).

Bioware, listen to this man.

I find comfort in the fact that, finally, ignoring these lessons does  hurt sales.
Here's hoping the shareholders will finally listen.

You can check out the Mission Statement thread and poll, linked to nearby.
http://social.biowar...index/10146448/

You can read this thread here:
http://social.biowar...index/10084349/
and use it to educate yourself against EA/BioWare tactics in this ground war.

You can actively participate in these threads and voice your concerns and what you would like to see in a future ending.

You can also stop using Origin and buying EA games. Stop playing ME2 and ME3, or if you do, play in offline mode.

Good work, Soldier. We may have to buckle down for the long haul, so make your foxhole comfortable.

I'm just thinking...
Mass effect must be truly profitable for Bioware. It wouldn't be financially reasonable just to ****** off 90%+ of loyal fans. Furthermore I get the feeling that Bioware is loosing something that they worked for since Baldur's Gate 1 (some 16 years maybe more) and that beeing fans' credit of faith that made us preorder their games.

I really think (hope actually) they've got something RALLY cool coming soon. Mr. Mike Gamble said on his twitter on 9th of March
"Hardest. Day. Ever. Seriously, if you people knew all the stuff we are planning...you'd, we'll - hold onto your copy of me3 forever."

That is giving me hope so I shall keep holding the line!!!

LOL
But seriously... as a fellow CE buyer I would like to say that I wouldn't buy it. But I know that compromises on both sides are going to have to happen to make this viable. I don't mind shelling out a few bucks for a satisfying ending. As long as we get it.

worst german article so far: http://www.ingame.de...hret-den-enden/

basically says we are greedy, arrogant, self-righteous, impudent and insolent.

and that we have no reason to complain, cause other developers are not doing ít any better, with a great example on "kane and lynch 2" :wizard:
