After reading quite a few comments on Finnish websites (mostly news about the fan reaction), I'm also glad to report most of the players share our feelings (and probably most of them lurk here as well). Must say, If I were one of the developers who worked on "the ending(s)", after those comments I'd curl up and cry, since the comments were as artistic as they were vulgar.  

It seems Finnish gamers are not a forgiving bunch 

Does anyone btw have the link for the RetakeME3 banners? If there's a general fleet Europe etc, I'd like it.

Sometimes, a story has to end in a particular way, even if it's not
what everyone wants. But the notion to have a brand new ending, one that
consensus, not the creator dictates, is an intriguing one. Shouldn't
the dedicated player be ultimately allowed to end the journey as they
feel fit?
After all, the creator of the game supplies the
actors and sets the stage, but it is the player who says action and
makes everything come alive. No other form of media allows for such a
degree of participation and freedom from the audience, so why should it
not be explored to the fullest extent?

Major news are now catching this story - there isn't a weekend for them - EA pulled them back and telling what can we do; and fix this now.......

Has anyone tried emailing our side to non-gaming publications? Maybe they'd find it advantageous as they won't have to quote any other publication (just a thought). We have an official Retake movement twitter account so maybe contact those writers via twitter?

Guys, I have an idea that I feel has some merit.  If you agree, could you spread it around a bit?

With the letter-writing campaign winding down, and the charity drive moving along actively, I feel like we've done a lot to get our views out there, but we can't afford to stop now.  I'd like to run an idea by you all. 

How would people feel about organizing a low-key video message to Bioware, from us, the Retake movement?  I know a lot of us have made promotional vids or response videos on our own, but I'm talking about a single message, a letter from us, spoken by us, on video - maybe each person presenting one or two lines apiece - as many of us as we can fit into a reasonably concise message.

I feel this would be a good way to send a really positive message.  We love Bioware, we love Mass Effect, and we want to continue doing both of those things, but we're standing firm in our desire for endings that live up to the high standards the series has set up to now.  We feel this way as a unified group, but also as the individual gamers who make up that group.

I think the idea of each person saying one or two words is a good idea, if you had a long enough speech then you could get a lot of people invovled with that. And,possibly,the each person records not only their word but also a phrase along the lines of "an ending worthy of the journey", where you could have a collage of miniaturised videos all saying that at the same time. It would be tricky to organise and create (I know I couldn't, outside my skillset) but would be powerful. At least I think so.

The ending was like return of the Jedi except Han died leia died. Luke died and Darth Vader died .in fact in the end ewoks are left to start fires. If Lucas did that ending he would be out of business.

Well then they should run with that Theory and say: "Yes that all was some****ed up dream that occured, here is your ending, epilogue and aftermath"

Because if that isn't the case they created PLOT HOLES , LORE ERRORS and Character switches in the last 10 minutes.

I don't know why but I like more ME1 and 2 soundtacks...
And did you guys notice that in the final battle is lack of some epic music like in the other ME games? I missed that.

Funny that you say that, while the ending of ME3 ruined ME, Lucas knew to ruin the start of Star Wars with his prequel trilogy.
