Just a crazy thought... probably stupid

Do you think that if a great bunch of biotics got together and created a massive biotic shield to stop Harbingers ray from killing all of Hammer squad and injuring Shepard... we could have had a better ending and unique tactic to fight the reapers?

Im just thinking out loud here... thinking about making a fan fic. It prob wouldn't work but i want your guys opinions....

Jack and her team, Miranda and a bunch of Asari Commandos should do the trick. I like that fic. Let me know when it's done.

I think that regardless of their past (LI or not), Jack really would sacrifice herself for Shepard.

Agreed, im trying to get a sense of family among the entire civilisations fighting the reapers... i think biotics were left out alot. I will let you know when its up :)

Ash and Jack are best and most natural love imtrests for me.
ash just loving kind and will die for you.Jack under that exterior she is soft as jelly. All that **** is just a front.me2 developed Jack great.although in me3 she doesn't feature much still she wants to be with you. And have a sense of responsibily. Great characters. Liara would put her 3rd.

Sigh... Feeling a bit depressed now. We have a game talk section in one of the fan clubs I'm part of on a manga forum I visit. A couple of people I've known for years brought up the ME3 ending and even mentioned "entitled whiners". One even said how he finds it "creepy" how serious people get about some things. They even mentioned the charity, the FTC complaint and facebook spamming. I wrote a page long dissertation on what the Retake ME3 movement really is about and how we're keeping it civil and that we don't support the FTC complaint.

I tried to explain our perspective as best I could, how the charity is a good thing, exactly WHY we're upset, that we still love 99% of the game and Bioware. And most importantly, I asked them to actually get the full facts instead of just listening to gaming sites that are in the publishers pockets.

Even on other forums, I will hold the line.

Yeah, there will always be people out there against us.
It sucks, but that's reality.
But thank you for staying strong, for trying to get our message across.

Thank you for holding the line!

I find it funny how many fans this thing has united. It amazes me really when I look at the map.

I find it absolutely hilarious how it has united the community, in a way I haven't seen any internet community get united before and the game with which we're uniting around is about uniting the galaxy.

Its like they were trying to reproduce the game in meta, and give us the world's largest, most elaborate ARG. Hell if they stick with the endings it matches up near perfectly where no matter what actions we took (boycott, charity fundraising, social networking, media, their website, mailing etc etc) we are all left with the same crappy ending.

Ditto.

Hacking my ME3 save with Gibbed now. You know the 3 conversation modes they had in the demo that are missing from the full release. The options are there in the save game file.

Yeah someone rushed this out the door. Probably the same people that rushed DA II.

Actually, thats untrue.

The 3 conversation options are presented to you if you start a new ME3 game without importing from any previous save.

Additionally, you can also go into the narrative options and select conversation style from there in the middle of gameplay.

I'm in an imported game. Just two options available. Maybe there are three with a new game only.

I'm not a native englishspeaker but hopefully BW and you guys in the forums will still understand what I'm trying to say.

Just before ME 3 got released here, I was in a real bad place - have a history with depresion so I think you know what I mean with that. The only bright spot that week was the ME 3 realese and when I started playing I was happy and forgot my problems for a while. When I cured the genophage and brokered peace between the quarians and the geth I felt that I really mattered in the game universe (and that was some awesome moments that felt epic).

Everything was exeptionally good up until the ending. Sure I was prepared that Shepard probably would die, but I had som hope that with the right choices he/she wouldn't die and everything would be relativly fine in the galaxy. Unfortunate every choice in the game was made invalid by the ending and I got no closure, the feeling I got was one of complete emptiness and I felt even worse than before. Now most of it is better but I still can't muster the energy to pick up the controls and play the game again until the endings are changed. I haven't played any other game for that matter since I beaten ME 3, the only thing I doing now is trying to work and look if there is any news about the endings.

Hang in there. I'm in the exact same situation (being treated for clinial depression). I'm sure many others can relate as well.

You need to put the image url between (img) (/img).

I am sorry to hear that. But if you realy feel down and unhappy, maybe you should try to find comfort with friends, relatives,  visiting a psychologist could also help. Games are many things, but they don't make problems go away.
From what I understand the matter of ME3 ending affected you more than it should. I hope you feel better soon!

Welcome aboard, we know your pain quite well. For some people the ending actually sends them into a depression for a few days. However, know that we're here for you if you need the support and you will be heard. You won't be ignored by us(though we might miss the post depending on how fast they're moving). We're here to try and make this right, or at the very least do something good in the process. Hold the line!

I know that most of you feel the same, I have been reading this thread since I finished the game and looked for answers. Still thank you for the support :)

I by no means what to discourage any of you from continuing on. I just know for 10 days I've been swallowed up in this thing. I haven't been able to focus on anything else. I can see the same happening to others. Games are supposed to give you an escape, give you entertainment, make you think (ect whatever they do for you) but not totally take over your life. Don't get me wrong. The endings are stupid and were executed poorly but if I continue to focus on just them I am going to ruin the rest of the game for myself. I don't want to do that. Not only have I already bought them but it is a fantastic series.

It's possible to achieve both. I still love the series, I even love everything up to a point in ME3. In fact I have no issue with the endings which are there, I have issue with the endings that aren't.

By being a part of this, and refusing to accept them as the be all and end all of this series, I can allow my favourite game trilogy to live on and be playable.

We're all different, but if I accepted and made peace with the endings then I wouldn't be able to replay the game. I couldn't romance Tali again because I'd cry every single time I looked at her as all I would hear was "I want more time."

I know I can't change your mind, but I think that your Shepard and my Shepard and all the other Shepards here would find another way. And that's what I'm asking you to do - find another way to keep the game alive instead of just taking what they shoved down your throat and accepting it. Shepard is worth more than that. You are worth more than that, we all are.

Don't let it wear you down too much.  Just remember that the only ones who will truly understand our perspective are people who have played the entire series.  If they still can't be convinced by a logical and cogent argument, shrug it off and move on.

Stand fast.  Stand strong.  Stand Together.

Anyone who wants to ask Seth Green, Martin Sheen etc. via twitter if they were contacted by Bioware to do some additional voiceacting?

maybe we are lucky! :)

And if we get a DLC that is full-on voice acting in any kind of short time scale, then it will just confirm my theory. You can't get those people to record new dialogue in any kind of short timescale. These people have schedules, commitments of their own.

I know how it is, I'm in the same spot as you. What I did to get over that was to invest all the energy and free time I have into this, and it helps. Because of all the good we have done I know that even if we don't get what we want, what we deserved, we made a statment and a difference.

Hang in there, hold the line!
