While I haven't researched beyond a quick look at Dragon Age II forums, this is probably by long shot the longest thread in the history of these boards... so much for the "vocal minority".

Same. Literally every pre-release interview had me so hyped. Now reading them just stings as you see all the lies.

Except for the Prothean stuff, which you kind of get more info on (only, and only if you have the From Ashes DLC) everything else is just...BS. 

And yes, Bioware, the ending was linear...it was "pick color-explode-Shepard dies-Normandy crashes-end of game" ending...

Actually... The Witcher 2... Is having... It's ending... Remade... As we speak. It will be called the Enhanced Edition or something like that, launching i think in two months.

Except that, it's an extraordinary and fun game.

I recommend you play the 1st one, though. Importing saves again. Small changes, still visible.

Today is such a videogame day for me. My head hurts but it's that "you're an idiot who forgot to drink water last night" kind so sleeping isn't going to fix it. Stomach is so unhappy and muscles hurt from having an impromptu baseball practice. So the solution as to what to do today? Play video games. I want to spend the day playing mass effect 3 but I know what will happen. The same thing that happened every other time I've tried to play it this weekend: I won't get past the start screen. I'll flick through my save files and then try to play multiplayer but won't get into a match and will then turn off my xbox. Fix it Bioware. Please.

Since I can't bring myself to start playing ME3 again, I have been watching all the different outcomes from choices mad throughout the game (i.e. killing Mordin, Killing Wrex, Romance options) on YouTube and I am so amazed at what a beautifully written story the game is. This just adds to my disappointment at what a poorly written ending the series concludes on. This game really does deserve better.
Needless to say: Hold the Line!

Yeah.
And that's why we are angry.
It's not that our expectations weren't met, but we didn't get what we were promised.
What we got was something that makes no sense at all.

I remember one post by a dev who was recommending that we play the game first as default instead of importing our game...then import our game on the second playthrough so that we can see the vast difference our choices make...

Yeah.. that was probably because the default Shepard didn't do any loyality mission in the second game etc... You play through on a transfered file and see more people from the series. And Bioware hopes that it makes you forget about how sucky the endings are at concluding a series. But all it does is make it hurt.

Im enjoying this . I really am. It is great that we can force the biggest publisher in the world and one biggest And most respected Game makers to change their product as its not fit for purpose.

I still love the series, I even love everything up to a point in ME3. In fact I have no issue with the endings which are there, I have issue with the endings that aren't. By being a part of this, and refusing to accept them as the be all and end all of this series, I can allow my favourite game trilogy to live on and be playable.

We're all different, but if I accepted and made peace with the endings then I wouldn't be able to replay the game. I couldn't romance Tali again because I'd cry every single time I looked at her as all I would hear was "I want more time."

I know I can't change your mind, but I think that your Shepard and my Shepard and all the other Shepards here would find another way. And that's what I'm asking you to do - find another way to keep the game alive instead of just taking what they shoved down your throat and accepting it. Shepard is worth more than that. You are worth more than that, we all are.

Well for one you can change my mind I pride myself on always listening to all sides. Its why my Shepard was sligtly more paragon then renegade but nearly half in half -lol- I'll give you words some thought. I just feel a little beaten by all the websites claiming we're entilted brats. That we are destroying the mass effect universe. Its not my intent to destroy mass effect but who knows what consequences this will have. I just don't know in the end if we will help Bioware or cripple it. There's so few game companies that make products I love. On the other hand I wonder if we say nothing if Bioware will just spiral downward. 95% of the game says otherwises. Who knows. I guess we will see. Sorry musing philosophically since the endings left me with so many questions.

Wow, I didn't know xD Why they changing the ending? It wasn't so bad if I recall.

I swear. If Bioware comes out and announces fixes to these endings, or at least bonus alternate endings that settle this whole problem, it will be the happiest day of my life. Bioware has literally ruined 5 years of my life here.. I simply can't let this go, the series is too important to me

It one thing to force CD-Project to change their game but forcing Bioware EA is a different kettle of fish.
It like we are commander Shepard and we are looking for support and uniting against a common enemy - Reapers/Bioware EA.

Well I think they were most surprised that the average age of a gamer is 35.

But yes, either neutral or positive from what I've seen.
