Bioware, hands down.

CD Project red is a small European company as I recall, the Witcher was their first release. They have managed to give themselves a great reputation as I recall, when Witcher was found to be full of major bugs they didn't just patch them they practically re-wrote the entire game.

Ironic that the company with the least money was willing to go and re-do their entire game...while the other stays silent about changing the ending of their game.

Having said that Bioware did spend something like $200 million on SWTOR, so their finances may not be as strong as they would appear.

Exactly what I was thinking.  I'd hate a sappy happy ending.  I just want one that accounts for it's lose ends....

I think thats just misinformation on the behalf of writers who can't be bothered to spend more than five minutes reading up on the topic before they write their piece.

If Casey Hudson wanted ME3's ending to be memorable. It won't be a positive memory. Unless they change it.

Bioware is much bigger ,much much bigger !!! with EA money behind them.
Cd projeckt have funding but not on that level.

it thought tha much so could somone expalin to why does CDPR does this http://www.pcgamer.c...cters-in-april/ when it is not needed and BW does not?

Cd project is fast becoming and im sure it wants to be next Bioware.
Their pedegree in RPGs now is very good.
But since they didnt have big money they couldnt make games on Consoles.
Now that their game sold 1.5 mln copies plus another 4.5 mln pirated ...that shows that they are popualr and good.

well let hope they will become the next BW in the DA:O and ME1,2 way not the DA2 ME3 ending way.. and i will admit i pirated  the witcher 2 finished it wiped id form my HDD went to the nearest JRC  and bought it and finished it another 7 times. Beacuse seriously wit all those tweaks and pathces and FREE bonuss stuff The Witcher 2 is the king or RPG in my opinion *sigh* wish a certain SPECTRE could sit on that throne.....:crying:

Easily Bioware.  They've got arguably the two biggest RPG franchises on the North American (and possibly European) market, plus backing from EA.

I think CDPR only has Atari, who has been having serious issues lately IIRC.

There is no excuse for Bioware and EA to fix this.  If Atari and a much lesser known (though IMO just as good) studio can fix it, so can BiowEAr.

CDPR did the same sort of thing for the first Witcher game.  Also, with The Witcher 2, I recall the first patch coming out in a little over 24 hours to fix some of the major bugs.

Nürnberg division of German Fleet reporting in.

Man, finally I can post in the English forum as well. Couldn't let u guys hold the line without me! ;)

Ever since I beat the game a week ago I cannot focus on ANYTHING! Can't get to work on my thesis, don't wanna play games anymore... man... How can a video game do this to me? I'm a 25 year old Student and got more important things to worry about than games, but seriously, I feel so worked up because of how the ending screwed with us.

I've been searching the Internet for opinions, justifications, official statements and explanations... I just really hope they fix this in a way. And I'm really glad we stand together and be vocal about this. We have to be heard!!

By the way, another thing that annoyed me was the poor design of Tali's face. EmperorZorn has created a very beautiful design based on the official pic that Bioware gave us. you can find it in this thread:

http://social.biowar...dex/7625998/771

In my opinion it looks amazing. Now we just need a 3D Model ;).

I'm proud to hoold the line with you guys!
Don't lose hope! We'll get our endings!!

186 hours into this, and still holding strong. We won't go away, and we'll continue to remind you of the atrocities you did to Mass Effect when you release future titles.

Because from from what i know CDP is one of the few remaining developers that care greatly about (their) games.
Note that the company behind CDP also runs GoodOldGames.
The witcher games are (yet) the only recent games available on GOG. Because they're their own.

Holding The Line again after dinner. /wave

Old BioWare would have done that too. I still remember the amount of years that they gave support (free patches with extra content/functionalities, as requested by the playerbase, or incorporating existing mods) to Neverwinter Nights.

I think their next game Witcher 3 which will come on next gen consoles plus pc will make them into a major player.
To make games to get license to make games on consoles is very expensive.
Hence Bioware allowed themselves to be bought by EA.
guarantees funding and stability.
there are drawbacks as we see now with Endings to Mass Effect 3 ,where published says we are realising the game no matter what...but in all This was the only move they could have done to make those games for last few years.
Think about it SWOR cost around 500 mln dollars.

I would like a happy ending option, but I don't want only happy endings. I'm fine with shep sacrificing himself/herself if their war assets or readiness aren't high enough or thats how they choose to go if their LI has been killed etc.

Hitler is memorable. Therefore someone should tell Mr Hudson that memorable is not always a good thing when it is quite bad.

Then they'd better get on with the fixing of all the things.

Because a lot of us are going to stop buying their stuff, the revenue from which they will need to continue making awesome games.

That we won't buy if they don't fix all the things. :P

Better than seeing that ending again.

Yes it's sad... I was expecting to play my second playtrough by now... :crying:

I might've been on my third by now...:(

I think I might have gone back to ME1 to create even more new shepard characters to take through the awesome journey in order to reach what surely should have resulted in epic ending awesomeness. Instead....well, this is more fulfilling.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that a true unicorn and rainbows ending isn't realistic, or possible given the scope of the war. But I at least want my Shep to live and be able to retire on Rannoch with Tali or have his blue babies with Liara or have a future with Ashley.

If squadmates have to die, I say let it be Vega and Javik.

Earth is all but a wasteland at this point, Thessia has fallen, and all kinds of deaths have already occurred. Millions died when the Citadel was taken over, never mind what happened with the rest of the galaxy.

Not that it should be an easy-to-attain ending, but it should at least be possible. Shepard dying makes the relationships I've built seem pointless.

I thought of another flaw that bugs me. If destroy is picked the reapers dont violently blow up they just sort of get deactivated. So why is it if the weapon merely deactivates them in that way does it violently destroy relays and the normandy's engines?

 Totally random, but...

People who play ME on console: did you think that the controller vibrated way less in ME3 than in ME2? I remember in ME2 whatever impact scene we had, it would vibrate like crazy and in ME3, even when Shepard was falling, it wouldn't vibrate at all :?

I had to ask that.

I on the other hand always go with PC. It just feels faster and right.
Bioware games that is . They are always better on PC.But I have seen Xbox version and ps3 and its same graphically.
Only interface is different.

Yeah... just do not want to play mass effect atall..

Honestly, I DO want to play it....so badly.

I just can't mentally force myself to do it.  I had planned on replaying the entire trilogy a couple times with different Sheps.

Now...hell I'm reduced to Minecraft and Mount & Blade.  Which isn't bad; it's just personally insulting.
