Heyy bringing up some thing i noticed a few days ago.
At the "end" of ME3 you hear a song when Joker stumbles out with whomever, its this song.

Only a snipet.

But i think some of the lyrics do represent the series as a whole.

No, it's not. This is the song played at the end of Mass Effect. Not Mass Effect 3.

Also, it does not resemble the credits song from ME3 in any way. They are however done by the same band.

Maybe its my fan girl ears wanting to hear some thing thats not really there.
And yes i know it was played at the end of ME1 what i wanted to convey was that it sounded similar at the end of the first game to the last. Sorry for not stating it clearer. --thats why the link was to ME1 OST--
Though you have to admit they have a very similar beat.  I have not looked at he OST for ME3 yet.

A lot when you consider they have to bring the team back and pay them, 15-30 minutes of extra game could take more than a week, then there is the cost of bringing back the voice actors, and lets be honest here, I doubt the likes of Sheen come cheap.

Understood, but remember that they have already promised additional DLC so most of the team will no doubt still be working on this. Voice Actors may have recorded all the dialogue there was for it a long time ago, or maybe not and it's still in production. I don't know that but, to be fair, the only extra costs likely to be incurred is getting various voice actors to come back for 5 minutes of dialogue. If they stick with just an epilogue release then there won't even be need for varied responses.

The team itself is already working and employed by BW, so having them focus on a short extra bit of DLC only means taking them from whatever project they had possibly moved on to, if they have even done that yet. That, in the long run, will cost nothing.

I'm teaching a summer undergraduate course on Social Movements & Networks. Have decided to use the Retake Mass Effect movement as the case study we use to open the class. Fantastic example of how individuals overcome the problem of collective action (e.g. letter writing, tweeting, charity donations, etc.) & establish social networks. And hey, more exposure for the cause. Of course, I'll at least have to pretend to be unbiased during class.

- what does mean PR strategy (I am french, so sorry about that question but it is not obvious to me)?
- is there any thread listing all the statements made by Bioware staff regarding the endings and that are obviously false? I am thinking at the one made by Mike when he said that endings will be various. For me, this is false since we got 3 variations of the same end

Sigh.. does anyone else actually like the music that plays in that scene? Too bad I can only associate it with pain..

I do. It's by Faunts, who did the credits for ME1. Anything by them makes me think of the ending of ME1. You can't get more epic

Both songs are from Faunts.
Most Fans wanted them to return as a credits song for ME 3.

WHY NOT NOW!? Sorry... still pisses me off, but in the light of the endings it becomes a minor complaint. Still the promises of MORE and DEEPER conversations with your team was a lie. I like that the people walk the ship more, e.g. Garrus and Joker telleng jokes, and I like the conversations via communicators. This added to the game. But There definitely is NOT more dialogue with the team in ME3 than there was in ME2.

So sad... This should be our next project once the endings are fixed... ok... one problem at a time.

So Liara I just ran the suicide mission and came back alive with my team intact what do you have to say?

Anyway it's likely that there will be an announcement on Tuesday regarding operation Goliath. I honesly didn't care for it either way, but I would have been much more inclined to take part if not for the ending of ME 3.

If you can't hear the similarity of styles between the two then I'm surprised. Listen to the refrain of M4 part 2 and then listen to Credits of ME3. Most people would be able to tell they're by the same composer or at least related.
