The pressure is still there. Think of it this way: The gaming press depends on the publishers to send them pre-release copies. And of course they will only do that as long as they think that whatever the journalists say is in their interest. If those magazines/sites start supporting the Retake Movement, they're in danger to lose their privileges on reviewing AAA titles--and with all the competition out there that can kill them,MischaMika wrote...

Well, I suppose CNN doesn't rely on EA sending them pre-release copies of their games for testing. ;-)MischaMika wrote...
Just a thought that crossed my mind while i hab dinner:
Isn't it strange that the regular news(CNN,etc) are on our side? And the game magazine's are mostly against us?
Or is it just me?
mhhh
Still holding the line
mmh i understood what you said but i mean not in game review's. More like in "supporting" our cause.
I know if the german regular media will say something about this it will properly involve the arguments about " Killerspiele" (Killergames) and that would definetly hurt our cause...
I'm a little bit worried.
As for the killer game debate, I think that's kind of a thing of the past. I remember vividly how politicians in Germany and Switzerland (and some other countries) tried to make computer games responsible for violent crime. However, I don't think that's really the issue here.
