To be honest never seemed to be an overwhelming number of those. Ouf of 23 freinds in rl that have finished the game so far 5 was meh about it and the rest hate it.

I was also wondering why anyone would ever like that ending. Like, really like it and think it was the best. I can see people not caring about it, but I can't see why people would love it...

Just out of curiosity because I see a lot of people writing "new ending", how many endings do you guys want BioWare to add if they make a "New Endings" DLC?

Personally, I want 2 new ones: Shep lives and is reunited with the crew (who crashes on Earth) with the LI and best friend finding them in rubble. The second is Reapers win. As for what we've got now, they could make variations of the current cutscenes to more accurately reflect our decisions throughout the series.

16 thats what they said before launch so im happy with 16 very different endings. Like you said a total win and a total loss and tons of shades of grey inbetween.

Well, last time I heard something, people were commenting that the east was having the same reaction as we had.
The problem is we have a language barrier between us, so communication is kind of scarce.

If by far eastern you mean the asian fleets, they've got their own forums and are coordinating in conjunction with us but as a separate force. They've got the same opinion of "Rent Effect" (as they are calling it) as we do. The Aussies are acting under Western Command for some reason. Guess it's standard op procedure to act as resistance groups there.

I don't mind them. It's fun pointing out all the Bioware interviews and pre-release statements to them. I don't think I met one yet that was completely knowledgable about any of it.

Apparently because you have to be really smart to get it. Or something like that. Meh, I admit I'm not a huge fan of interpreting lots of stuff. Had to enough of that in school, in my free time I prefer good entertainment. As for the people not caring about it, my bet would be on those who never played ME before and ME3 is their first. They are rewarded with relatively good action gameplay and good entertainment. They got enough stuff to blow up.

Btw, what's the situation in Japan? Could you update us if more people are hating the ending or some even linking it.

We're here mate. Just keep in mind, it is 5am over here.  As for our cousins from Japan etc, I think the language barrier is keeping them secluded to their own forums.
