I have been reading comments on other sites and the people who don't support us (the ones who haven't finished me3) seem to think we are out to destroy Bioware. I just want to state, to both Bioware and to others who may be reading, that is not my, or I believe, others intentions.
I think we all want to see this series get the ending it deserves. The one we know Bioware can make. After my favorite series went downhill (Final Fantasy) Bioware was there to give me an rpg that surpassed almost all others that I had played before. But the ending ruined all that I cared about in Mass Effect.
All I want is a cohesive, choice-filled, well-written ending. From many developers, that is asking alot. From Bioware, I think that's just what everyone expects out of them.
So,Bioware, what most of us holding the line are saying isn't that we all instantly hate you, it's that we are you're fans and we love Mass Effect so much that were willing to go to these extremes to get that storytelling gold we know you all are capable of delivering.
Hold The Line.
This.^
That's what we are doing.
We still hold dear all that made Mass Effect the awesome series it is.
We have problems with the ending"s", not with Bioware.

Would you go to a japanese forum? You can assume that they know broken english and that their grammar would be fairly bad, or that they consider it as such probably. They probably fear coming here and sounding like idiots though god knows most of us would never hold it against them.
No, they are different from us (as you can tell, English isn't my native language either, but we learn it in school and stuff)
The majority of the Japanese people do not speak English at all. Plus their culture kind of makes them stay inside of their own community (different from us, Brazilians, who are all over the place)

You could've of told me that in the first place. And i've been also telling peope to watch their language. IMO that image wasn't off topic, it was a way to express my discontent, and I apologize If it was mistakenly percieved in another way.LethesDeep wrote...

Self-regulation, miss (or sir). If we get off-topic or offensive to BioWare - anyone, actually - we'll get locked. We've given out that warning for pics that were on-topic too. Mostly we are worried they'll lock us because of server load (?) or something (I don't know the term) because the thread has gotten too long and there's too much that needs to be loaded. Links are easier to load than the actual image.
anyways, I'm glad people like you care a lot about this thread :]
Hold the line sir!

Well in their last comic they already referenced us. Gabe believes art shouldn't be changed, and Tycho seems to be on the fence.
Extra Credits isn't Gabe and Tycho. It's another group of people originally from The Escapist. And YES, please someone (many someones) email them! They are fair and look at everything in depth before actually reporting on it. Plus they're big ME fans (look through their vids for stuff on moral choices) so I'm willing to bet they'd definitely cover it.

Better than Witcher 1, so I have been told. It is what DA II should have been.
Great combat, good story, Free DLC. No customization though.
It's worth supporting the company that made it.
I'd actually recommend the first Witcher. In my opinion it is superior story-wise to the sequel.

Actually... The Witcher 2... Is having... It's ending... Remade... As we speak. It will be called the Enhanced Edition or something like that, launching i think in two months.
*double take*
Having put that aside when Amaulr came out I haven't got to the end. What happened?

If you have to ask that question then you are missing the point entirely.
We are not insisting that they change the ending, only that they provide an option where our efforts are rewarded.
We are not insisting that they order a mass recall and remove those minutes from the game - well, ok, some may want that but not most of us.
If you've enjoyed the ending, good for you. Most of us here haven't and feel that we were cheated out of something that we were promised. The ending that has been presented is not an option that we wouldn't enjoy exploring; it's the fact that we have no other option than to take it in a series based about choice is another matter entirely.
Also, who gave us the right to force BW to change it? Have they? Have they been forced? Will they have been forced? No-one is forcing anyone to do anything, we're appealing to them to provide some sort of ending to a series that we have dedicated our time and money to, just as they have. If that doesn't give us a right then I don't know what does. We have as much right to request it as you have to ask us that same question.
So, please, think your thoughts through before posting.

I wouldn't care if Bioware left in their "artistic integrity" ending in and gave the rest of us some different choices for endings.
For some people it's about how sad and inconclusive the ending was, for others it's about how many plotholes riddled the whole thing. Either way, the staple of the series (choice) has no bearing on the ending. We, as consumers, deem this unacceptable and ask, with civility, that it is changed.

Bioware's not obligated to do anything, but if they value their business, they'll comply with the fans that have stood with them and the Mass Effect series for five years. If they do fix the ending, it will be through DLC, something that no one is required to download. Therefore, you can keep your ending that you enjoy and Bioware can still fix the issue. If they would directly acknowledge the issue and announce an ending fixing DLC rather than making statements that don't tell us anything we don't already know and trying to lure us astray with special events like N7 Weekend, then this would all be water under the bridge for most people.
The fact that no one is required to download DLC makes it so that we can both have endings that we enjoy, therefore we can all walk away from the game with closure and satisfaction with the game itself and Bioware.

we dont want the old endings to vanish completely, just that new endings are added. we want our choices throughout the games considered in the ending not thrown out of the window by little deus ex machina of tall deus ex machina!
I just feel it wasn't an ending. Their own documentary says they ran out of time and dropped the ending that sounds WAY more like the indoctrination theory. If I buy a maytag dishwasher and they left parts out of it I call to complain.. if I go to a restaurant and they left parts out of it I complain.
They've already set precedent by changing the Mass Effect novels that were full of continuity errors and plotholes, so it's not like they haven't done this before. We're just asking them to hold their own things accountable to the same level of excellence as their reputation for excellence has been.

Well done to all of us.
You have to look beyond that and get them to change their business practices. Otherwise we will have DA II / ME3 all over again in a few years.

1; We are in the majority, not the minority. If you enjoyed the ending good for you - seriously no irony/sarcasum implied or intended. Unfortunately the majority of customers/players did not enjoy the ending in the slightest.
2; Your logic falls apart with a casual thought. First If Bioware produces and releases an ending DLC you will have the option not to install it, therefore it is not you who would have something forced on them. Second you are trying to force something onto us we don't like - and as I noted we are not in the minority.

You make it sound like we have people tied up in a warehouse somewhere. All we are doing is telling Bioware that we are unhappy with the endings & we started up a chairty fund to build awareness so that the message would hopefully reach them. The forums are here for a reason; to voice opinions. We have the right to do that as much as you do.
