Could be the perfect ending is unlocked through an ME2 import? But from what i have seen from the FMV's i don't think anything major will help in the ending. Blue, Green, Red seems to fit with paragon, neutral and renegade

Given the fact that people have extracted the game files for the PC version, looked through all of the cinematics and not found a "happy ending," the claim is highly suspect.

Yeah, that's more than highly suspect.  All the vids are now on Youtube.  There are now charts out there on how you get each ending.  There's nothing to support that contention from the scripts, the people that have proven they've played the game or the mined data.  On top of that making it so people who don't own the first two games can't get the "good" ending would be even more stupid than the endings as they are.  I'd love for it to be true but there would be some evidence in the vids.

I have the 1:10 video of the Normandy and Joker getting destroyed by the exploding Mass relay which then cuts to the galaxy map which shows the whole network being destroyed. 

Not sure if i'm alllowed to post it though - I'll pm if another poster hasn't sent it.

Question - are these posted videos pre-rendered cutscenes only? I'm afraid my knowledge about this sort of thing is mediocre, but cutscenes rendered in real-time (which the ME series has in abundance) wouldn't be extractable, would they?

Just a thought. Again, my know-how about this area is pretty shoddy.

He said he did every sidequest he could find, and ended up with over 4000 war assets, which is enough for the 'perfect' ending--Shepard living.
