No they won't. They clearly won't.
If you are happy with the ending and there should be an additional ending-DLC, you always have the right to not download it (and maybe also to not pay for it). If your ME3-trilogy is over, kudos to you. Neither we nor BioWare will ever force you to accept something different than "your" ending.

If you like the ending of "Harry Potter 6", I will not ring your doorbell and tell you to buy the seventh book.
But I will cleary buy it for myself, if I have the chance.

You are part of the same group and you gave me two complitly different answer on how handle this thing of yours.
You want a rewrite?An add? Or everybody in this "hold the line" joke have his opinon on how integrate this change in the existing content?

 If you like the ending thats good for you. What we are working towards is DLC, not a patch. That means you can chose if you want the DLC or not. So even if there is released an ending DLC pack, it wont affect you at all if you chose to not install it.

And with that being my closing statment I urge people to not make this into a troll war. This thread is for people dissapointed with the ending, if you want to support it, I'm sure there is a thread for that aswell.

If you didn't bother to read main point is IT'S DLC, IT WONT AFFECT YOU IF YOU DONT INSTALL IT.

To be honest I don't see much of a difference in our two posts.

We don't want a rewrite.  We want an addition.  And yes, we all have our own opinions, but they all form this big conglomorate opinion that basically boils down to the fact that we want our own respective choices to have mattered, and to have an ending based off that (or at least less generally than what we got).

Okay folks, not everyone is going to agree, that's the reality of life, heck we'd get nothing done without disagreement, life would just become stagnant.

But I would say we are not trying to get the ending rewritten, we want extra endings, other path's.

So suck it up soldiers, holster those weapons and show the opposition that we also stand with them.

now that's something i could work on. but i do think that there'll be tears and frustration involved. true though, afterwards i should be fine again. now if only i could find some toothpicks..

We have no right to force anything, so you actually got that wrong. Additionally we can not force anything from bioware either, we are just asking, I'd even say, we appeal to bioware to align the end of Mass Effect 3 to the rest of the game. And since the rest of the game is awesome, making the end also awesome, seems only logical to me.
Since you are one of the opposite people who actually enjoyed the ending, I really need to know what you liked, and due your "so much enjoyed" ending, you seem to fully understand it. I'd like you to explain it to me, if you want. a PM would be more appreciated.

You could always just ignore possible ending DLC, it doesn't have to affect you at all.

Arrogance...hmm...I'd rather call it confusion on my behalf: I simple cannot understand how anyone can be satisfied with the current conclusion of this epic trilogy. It doesn't get into my head. It is like watching Star Wars and in the end we just switch over to Matrix meeting 2001. It doesn't fit.

And I doubt that there are more people worldwide liking the Ending than there are pages in this thread. And I am pretty sure that, in contrast to the page-count, this number is rather decreasing instead of growing...

But to each his own opinion. But I can't see how a possible Ending-DLC, hopefully with a big battle against the reapers or something...can hurt anyone...
