I only thought of this recently but doesn't this skit fit the "Art cannot be changed" argument perfectly.

I just feel it wasn't an ending.  Their own documentary says they ran out of time and dropped the ending that sounds WAY more like the indoctrination theory.  If I buy a maytag dishwasher and they left parts out of it I call to complain.. if I go to a restaurant and they left parts out of it I complain.

They've already set precedent by changing the Mass Effect novels that were full of continuity errors and plotholes, so it's not like they haven't done this before.  We're just asking them to hold their own things accountable to the same level of excellence as their reputation for excellence has been.

Do you have a link to that documentary? Haven't seen it:wizard:

anyone know any good motivational music...today's kinda gloomy here, overcast skys and everything.

Well I know that when I feel miserable I listen to some Tom Lehrer. Also if you look up "Still Alive" from the Mirror's Edge OST then that track is a great pick up.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a threat? Seriously, it would be better for all ME-fans if the discusions would be more reasonable and not  such a Schwarzenegger-"I'll be back"-thingy.

'Would have', 'if' and 'but' - not more than jabbering (old german saying).
Let us wait till BioWare acts, okay? Then you can start threatening us and demanding apologies.

Haha, that's quite ambiguous.

The truth is nothing more than a rumour. Would this be referring to The Truth DLC or would this be the truth as in the concept of veracity?

The truth is nothing more than a rumour. Well, indoctrination theory is a rumour...so perhaps that is the truth.

He wrote "The Truth", not "the truth" implying he meant a title, implying the DLC. Abandon the thought of this one being true, really.

Hi folks.

I got an EMS of over 6000 (closer to 7000) in ME3 for PC.

However, when I got round to playing through the Renegade ending, i did not get the short "Shepard in rubble alive" clip. Tried the ending twice.

Any idea it did not work for me? Does it depend on paragon/renegade score. (The very final conversation choices with TIM were greyed out) although the tree before were availe.

I guess it works only if you're playing new game+. Means that you imported your me2 character or me3 save.

We hold grievances with the current ending and EA/BioWare because:
  • The game's ending fails to meet what we were promised as consumers.
  • The game's ending fails to meet our expectations as fans.
  • The response from BioWare needs to change.
  • We have jobs, families, responsibilities. We dedicate our time to this cause because we genuinely care about Mass Effect and its story.
  • We want to see a product that we, as human beings, as consumers, as fans, and as players can be proud of.
  • We wish to see a conclusion to the game that does the rest of the series justice - in terms of concluding the story and providing the players with both choices and consequences to prior choices.

dear retake mass effect community id like to adress everyone  because i have a great idea . if the community backs it it could be a wonderful tool to increase our cause. understanding and garner suport acrossed markets. which would realy put us in a better position later!
my idea is

-going to the local game /hobby stores/ walarts?/ bestbuys . gamestops and other popular meeting spots for gamers . we would ask the management if its ok to post this sheet of printed paper on their walls . saying  what its for and what our community stands for. if not its ok! thanks for listening and walk out

ideas
things we need to make it happen
- organizing a day we would pick much like the mail bioware day was!.
-a agreed apon set of mission statement emails/facebook/twitter/threads people could go to to lend support or critism . and
-a statement to the general public about them maturity of the movment its not radical and suportive of peoples rights/ and costumer satisfaction .
-list that we have already garner support from various forbes/ cnn/ and other media already.
i not only welcome feedback but also ideas of your own
let me know if u like it or not!<3

Too bad such people are just coming in here with a hit and run tactic. post something which will be heavily discussed, and never come back to answer to any question which may occur. I stay civil to any questions which arise, whatever opinion about the ending questioners may have, as long as these people are capable of normal textual communication through the internet.
dam, that sounded cool

My god... so that means you've never had a fluffernutter sandwich?! You poor bastard you haven't even LIVED!

That's what I said when I was telling people about Mass Effect series. Until that very moment we all had.
