uuh, why can you save Anderson with high paragon/renegade with an EMS 4000-4999, but not above 5000?
It's another one of countless things I wonder about..

You can still save him. The difference is if Shep lives or not. At 5k+ shep will live regardless. If <4999 then shep dies if he did not save anderson.

Who knew Conrad Vernier's 10 EMS was so important ;)

You can save him but over 5000 EMS you just don't need to. If you can't you'll still get Shepard under rubble cutscene

Well I destroyed it the first time round, but kept it the second time round. (Just in case.)
And I imported the second playthrough Shepard.

Ahhh. Did I just bum myself there?

Then according to this. I have to let TIM kill Anderson.
Time for another playthrough.

That is incorrect. I saved the collector base, killed TIM to save anderson, destroyed the reapers and Shep lives.

You have to have either EMS (which is your War Assets multiplied by the Percentage Galactic Readiness) above 5k, or between 4k and 4999 and save Anderson. If you do not save anderson with EMS less than 5k, Shep will not survive.

So, we have CNN and Forbes on our side and IGN and Kotaku against us....
Quite unexpected....

ROFL no kidding.  Guess it goes to show the maturity of the authors.. one side is based on consumer rights and protection, other is based off inflaming people to get more views of their reviews so they get more access to publishers to get more views of their reviews...etc

I think that IGN, although beeing popular, is a bunch of people who are only the average gamer: Flaming who they are not agreeing with. It sounds really rude, but after watching one of their videos, I get the imperssion they want to harass us rather then make constructive critism.

After they put this one guy into their video who shouts "Day one DLC is unforgivable." in a pitchy voice, it is proven for me that they are actually NOT a serious way to get information. Having CNN on our side is worth a thousand times IGN against us.

Yeah it's disappointing.  This is a lot of people's first time being targetted by the media.  I don't think most of the publications realized we were as big a movement as we are or they wouldn't have done it, now they're risking eroding their own readership.

Alright thats it... When we win this and get the DLCs of the endings we want... I'm going to make a fluffernutter sandwhich for everyone on this forum! Just so people can try it. They don't have to like it.

Fun facts: My friend I had growing up had a rabbit named fluffernutter because he was white with brown spots all over him.

Yay!
I am looking forward to this day!

Very nice, and though you claim it's very personnal, i think 99% of the people here share your story... that's something.

Honestly how long has a thread ever remained civil and understanding? Ever? I mean you can say what you want about our cause, but this is the first time I can ever remember a bunch of random people with different preferences and desires, fighting in a civil fashion for a cause that will end up saving an entire franchise.

It's amazing, really.

And don't forget that, either. We're fighting to actually save this game and universe! The whole IP! Mass Effect will go nowhere after this, regardless of any prequel material. So keep that in mind, guys. You fight not just for your ending preference, but for all of Mass Effect.

If you haven't seen the Amazon.com ratings lately, you might want to check this out.  It pretty much doesn't matter what version you pick, they are all getting a 2.0/5 rating right now.

Hey, hey.
I've heard people saying that they are actually just as mad as we are.

And, oh, I don't know. Vega comes across to me as... not virgin.
Doesn't matter, haha.

it says something when both the top reviews say the end sucked and made the game less for it.

However, in order to have that, you need to play multiplayer (which I never do, so I will never see that clip)

Is it for lack of gold membership? Or do you just not like the concept of playing with other human beings (which I can completely understand and empathize with).

Great, just great.

Of all the things I've done on this forum, all the time I've been here, I'm going to be remembered for just one thing.

Revealing the recipe for fluffernutter sandwiches.
