But there's glory in that!
Haha, just kidding.

I, for one, will remember the collective efforts of everyone in this cause!
Keep on holding the line!

However, in order to have that, you need to play multiplayer (which I never do, so I will never see that clip)

Which is just another one of those things that were promised but not kept. Making multiplayer a mandatory singelplayer requirement is bound to alienate customers. Especially with XBox Live Gold is this a problem.

This is why I almost never do multiplayer content. Maybe if, in order to "unlock" multiplayer gaming, you had to finish the single player campaing first?

Oh, but wait, that would be forcing a player to do something in order to get the result they wanted. Surely no game company would do that, right?

You know, I am currently thinking of making two pieces of metal in form of dog tags. On the first, N7 and my Forum name, on the second:
#RetakeMassEffect
and
Hold the Line!
And simply wear it everywhere I go.

These are from Amazon..

Funny thing is, out of 591 reviews, 319 rates it only 1 star...

So, over half of the buyers think the game is relly, but really bad..

Japanese fanbase still debating whether or not Vega is a virgin.... don't think we're getting much help there.

Wait, wait, wait......what? How does......why does that even.........*remember this is japan*......guess I should've expected that.

Pffft, I know right? It's so useless, since it's totally clear he has a thing for Cortez, virginity has no importance whatsoever, geez ;)

Matters lots. Important to determine who would be uke, and since it looks like Cortez has seniority but Vega has size, virginity becomes a deciding factor.

...err, at any rate. My japanese isn't good enough to actually talk to the natives, so if someone who feels they're a bit better at it would please go see if they're playing ball?

So, we have CNN and Forbes on our side and IGN and Kotaku against us....
Quite unexpected....

Nah.  IGN is a patsy for the game companies, anyway...at least the ones that give it stuff ^^

Unless IGN flipped, again, then they are taking a neutral stance now. They've backed off trying to state which side they agree with and just post up the controversies.

I think our biggest hurdle is to get the groups that are against us to realize, no, we're not a minority. I keep hearing that, heck 5-pages or so back there was a guy who was complaining that our minority better not change his ending and all I could think was "What...? What possible idea makes you think we're a minority?" Only thing I can figure is that since people see all of us, then base it off of the number of people that bought the game. They don't consider, however, that the forums are simply a cross-section of the community as a whole. So if there's 90% of us on the forums upset about that, that means probably 80-95% of all users who play the game are upset about it. Not just that the small group of us are upset. Ah well, anyway... Hold the line!

the poll seems like a trap, i'm sure that if you vote " still playing it through" you can't change it to "i hated the ending"

If you haven't seen the Amazon.com ratings lately, you might want to check this out.  It pretty much doesn't matter what version you pick, they are all getting a 2.0/5 rating right now.

it says something when both the top reviews say the end sucked and made the game less for it.

I liked this qoute in one of the reviews as it pretty tells how I felt about synthesis ending. Mind you this is just my opinion so I'd there is anyone who liked it don't think I'm speaking for you :)

Anyway here's what was said:

"Out of the 3 endings, the one in the middle (invloves green colored light), The "science" involved in the transformation is simply impossible for a science fiction. This is nothing but deus ex machina".

To me even if someone could suspend disbelief for a moment I feel that that isn't sci fi in the least. Plus all it took was one man part synthetic or not to make that outcome happen. that just seems impossible. Now if they Lazarus Projected everyone then that's one thing, but this... Well it just feels weird and not sci fi at all.

I don't consider it cheating to use the resources available to you. Sadly though, the internet could only be won if you already knew what it was from.
