I'm not sure the ending of this trilogy even matters for ME 4 or whatever you want to call any Mass Effect related game. The doctors were interviewed about the future of Mass Effect. It seem they are really excited about doing a prequel, a game many thousands of years in the past about a bunch of alien races we have never heard of, whose only tie in to the ME we know is ezo and relays.

So really it does not matter what happens in ME3 as it relates to the future Mass Effect games. I can't say I'd be real excited to play a game about crap that happened 200,000 years ago in the ME universe, and has no possible affect on what has already happened, since we know they were alll wiped out of existance.

Comparing how the protagonist ends in ME3 to how Marston ends in RDR, I didn't think I would ever say it, but Rockstar Games may be better at story telling than Bioware.

Yes, and he only played 23 hours of it. 23 hours is way too small to do all the side quests and gather all the war assets.

Really, I feel like the sources are legitimate. The only thing we can hope for is that they decide to make an addition through DLC which yes, unfortunately I would pay for.

Ok, few things: Bioware never said that there will be "Everyone is happy" ending as far as I recall, they said "amazing" and "conclusive". Secondly, as far as we know, our choices DO affect the ending we get. Thirdly, happy ending to series that features unimaginably powerful hostile species does sound like it requires Deus Ex Machina. Fourthly, you people haven't played the game yet nor have leakers, so for all we know its some kind of misunderstanding. The proof is the people who have already played the game and proved without a shadow of a doubt that they own the game.  If your asking for the vid of them walking out of the hatch you won't see it because it's rendered in-game and is dependent on your score.  I haven't seen a "crash" vid if that's what you're asking for.  Go to youtube.  There's a ton of vids there and the number keeps going up by the moment.  They seem to be from a Russian guy from what I can tell.  To see them go into the spoiler group and look for the links.  Their unlisted vids so you can't search for them.

That's all well and good, but that isn't proof that in every iteration of the ending, the Normandy is either destroyed or stranded.  I'm not saying this isn't the case, but I haven't seen any proof that this is the case.

And this is what a lot of people are up in arms about.  Without proof.  A week before launch.

Yeah, I'd like to see the 'hatchet opening' thing as well. Is there a video for it? Is it on the leaked script? Have people who have played through the whole thing seen this? On *every* possible ending?

No there's no vio for this scene. I can assure you personaly.
And yes appereantly they played through all 3 possible endings.

Thank you for insulting me  He only asked if these people got through the game. I answered, that appereantly yes.
And for videos - I saw them all myself so yeah...  It's not the matter of trust.

This might be going on: The people who played it saved their game, and went into the final battle with whatever preparation they had. Then, they kept loading THE SAME SAVEGAME, to see how other options would go.

No wonder we only get variations on the same sort of ending.

It would be easy enough to write it in, and it would still have a bittersweet element to it.

Shepard walks away from the final decision. For once in his/her life, Shepard lets the chips fall where they may.

The Catalyst stops meddling in organic affairs, the Reapers return to dark space, and everybody else goes home. If the singularity is inevitable, give us the option to let it happen. It will eventually mean the total destruction of civilization (which we will eventually get via singularity with the Destroy ending anyway), and Shepard knows it. This, combined with the devastation already wrought by the Reapers, delivers the bittersweet element. Everyone alive now lives out their lives; society (maybe) destroys itself a few tens of thousands of years down the line via singularity, and only then do the Reapers return to re-seed the galaxy with life, inverting their former purpose. What we get is a different kind of cycle, one that doesn't necessarily have to end with the extinction of organic life. Whether it does or not  is up to us (organics). The responsibility falls on us to make that decision. We shouldn't be "protected" from the consequences of our own actions.

Beats the hell out of some magical green energy wave that spontaneously converts everyone in the galaxy into husks, if you ask me.
