This might be controversial, though I feel like I have to say it.

So----the Child's Play donations are at $65000+, that's amazing.

But could we also donate to another charity? $75 covers a year's worth of school expenses, for kids in developing countries. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could provide 1000 kids with a Shepard Scholarship?

I like this idea...wasn't there a Shepard scholarship in ME2? Very fitting :)

I am...frustrated.  With the ending.

As with the first two series of the franchise, I was enjoying the story and the gameplay.  Then came the extremely confusing end.  I won't go into too many details as they've been harped on up and down the internet, but certainly seeing a squadmate of mine who was with me in the tank rolling towards the final run to the beam...then end up, inexplicably on the Normandy...??  Then there was...oh, nevermind, it's already been discussed.

Mass Effect 3's ending was memorable.  But unfortunately, for the wrong reasons :(  This ending fell flat.  That is now two sequels in a row (Dragon Age 2 being the other) where I was not happy with the end due to the lack of any "oomph" and more questions than answers.  Not fun.

It look like Duncan can't believe his eyes at the ME3 ending either.

"I killed hundreds of Darkspawn....for this?"

My mother and one of her next door neighbours collect bottles, take them back for recycling, and buy school supplies for a school down in the Dominican republic :)

I would love, personally, to donate to another charity or donate more to this one...but being between jobs right now, I don't have too much spare money >.<

Personally I'm a bona fide pauper :(, and the $60+$10 I've paid for ME3 and Prothy the Fascist have made a serious dent in my budget already.

But to think that the cost of a single videogame can cover a kid's yearly school expenses...

Why is it that every time I hear some explanation about the ending I can hear Sovereign saying; Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh. You touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding.

It is pretty amazing that it's such a low cost compared to North America, and is worthwhile.

I haven't bought a new game since before Christmas; I preordered back when it was first announced, while I was working at a really good-paying job.

If this is still going on when I go to the next one, I'll donate again...and it'll be a biggun.

If Shepard's background was Earthborn yes, it was a charity to help inner city kids on Earth.

Kadien also gets a Scholarship program named after him if he died in ME1 - that one was for biotic children.

There should be an actual dramatic ending where Marauder Shields saves the day.

Registered just to add my voice/votes/etc. to the chorus of discontent. Should've had a spectrum ranging from Disney to Tarantino, not this crap...

Slightly OT, but I found a funny thing to make you feel better.

Yep - and I was so hyped for it after the way ME2 ended with relationships, resources, and decisions playing a huge role in who survived and whether Shepard would survive.  I thought they would take that and implement it further, but instead, basically downsized the ending into what we have.

I'm ok with the hero dying (eg Fallout 3's original ending did that, and I sacrificed my hero in DAO instead of choosing someone else) - but typically when a games does that, such as FO3 or even DAO, there's a review of all the things that sacrifice accomplished as well as an idea of what happened to people you met along the way.  That did not happen here.

Still lurking, mostly because so many people here have already expressed my thoughts about the horrible "endings" better than I could probably do.  Still, I'm here, keeping up with everything.

Been following this bad boy for a while now but only just got permission to start posting.
