Just noting another thing that bothers me about the ending. So, the Citadel explodes over Earth. Wouldn't that mean that the pieces would eventually fall to the surface of the planet and completely devastate it even further? Seems like it would be a lot worse than any asteroid impact I can imagine. Thoughts?

I'm going to ask this again since my post got buried in here.
Are you guys sure they will say something tomorrow about the ending?

I would be absolutely shocked if they did.

Once again, any official announcement is, IMHO, not likely to be made until PAX East on 8 April.

Honestly, I kinda fear for the safety of those who will be working the Mass Effect 3/EA/Bioware booth there... Been a while since I've seen this level of fan rage.

And come to think of it... I was kinda hoping to see the noble ship Qwib Qwib take down a couple reapers.

Yes...too bad :crying:

Well, if you think about it, the Qwib Qwib already made its noble sacrifice. That's why you had to rescue Zal'Koris in the first place.

I thought he was on a different ship when he rammed the cannon... I'll find out in a bit since I'm almost at that part anyways...

Hey comrades! Anyone discovered Image IPB space magic Image IPB so we can control Bioware to make a better ending yet? I still want my Shepard and Tali to build a home on Rannoch and adopt a quarian baby bubble Image IPB
Hold the squiggly line!

My laptop died on me today, I trust some of the fine folks here won't mind picking up my slack while I take some time to find a new computer and get back to full war readiness. Let it be known that my computer's final act was printing off my letter to Bioware. *salutes*

On to my main points, if anyone hasn't read this yet social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/10084349 I'd highly recommend it. Also, if anyone hasn't sent a physical letter to Bioware, it's a good way to let Bioware know how you feel. A physical letter is better than an email as it takes more effort to dispose of and seems more daunting when high quantities are arriving. Keep up the pressure folks, we're getting there, but simply stating how upset we are isn't going to do anything (I've sent Bioware my letter and I refuse to play any Bioware games until this issue is dealt with). Until we get a difinitive statement from Bioware that they are going to change the ending we should take every one of their peace offerings with more than a grain of salt. We gotta hit 'em where it hurts, and if you're truly behind this movement, you'll join me in not playing their games because they can and will see the numbers.

Hold the line.

That sort of nonsense doesn't admit of being treated via 'thoughts'; it's best to just whistle about it.

I think people fear the pax thing too much. When compared to, say, warcraft forums at their worst, this place has been downright boring.
By extension you might predict same will be true about public gatherings. Never been to blizzcons, but for what you see on the net, even the class panels aren't that bad. And those people care, like endless exel spreadsheets about game mechanics care.

Still, nothing wrong with adoption.

How well do you think Shep and Liara could raise a baby Krogan?

They'd make wonderful parents for a baby krogan. Especially with Wrex as a role-model and de facto "uncle."

He did call FemShep a sister, and I'm guessing by default here, that Male Shep is a "brother" so that would make sense... Oh that means that Eve, or Urdnot Bakara would be an Aunt, and they'd have a little Krogan named Mordin, who would be a cousin... O.o xD damn that's just too funny!

To quote Aethyta: "That's what I'm here for, babe..." :wizard:

And the fact Tali and Garrus are pretty much Shepards pals for life along with Liara. It would be a really crazy family tree.

Wrex - Bakara - Shepard - Garrus - Tali - Liara (as if they were all siblings XD)

And Grunt would be like a 'son'. Random cousin to Shepard's kids. Pretty much a whole galaxy family.

I can't play MP anymore, guys. Whenever I see a Marauder all I can think is "Marauder Shields, I'll never forget you". I have trouble pulling the trigger.

I wonder what happens to her after Cerberus attacks the Citadel, it was nice to learn that she's Liara's dad... and in a sense, my "father-in-law"... I already killed my "mother-in-law" way back in ME1...

I guess it also depends on how far away the Citadel is from Earth's surface. The moon is actually moving away from Earth as we speak rather than towards it. I'm not physicist so all I can do is guess. Just another reason I wouldn't mind seeing a different ending.

So out doing errands today and I specifically looked at the gaming magazines to see what the reviews for ME3 would not just a preview. Not a single one has a review. Is that normal for a game that came out 2 weeks ago?

Hey there was something about BioWare saying they weren't changing the endings on another thread (which linked me to a random fb page).

Can anyone weigh in?

You can adopt them! All those alien babies...a lot of them won't have parents because of the war. :crying:

Imagine all the little Krogan, Asari and Quarian brothers and sisters. Screw it, I don't want my Sheploo x Kaidan to settle down on earth, I want them to run their own planet with the rest of the crew and their adopted multi species children!

Actually I don't remember, was it the Citadel that was a mass relay or the statue?  Either way when it's explodes wouldn't that destroy Earth?  Even a small relay (assuming it's the statue) would cause a mini nova right?.  (I'm not sure, I didn't even know there was an arrival DLC, kicking myself now, because I can't buy it until Bioware makes this right.  hrmph  Image IPB)

I hope she got out.

The conversations between her and Liara are heartwarming. I'm glad I got them talking.

The Citadel was the giant mass relay to dark space. The Conduit, the Prothean-built shortcut from Ilos, is the statue.

Yes. Yes I believe I am. Unfortunately I'm far too busy on the board posting about how fast I would tap an asari knowing full well she's not technically a female, that I would be shunned by human society and could possibly contract space AIDS.

Consider yourselves lucky, BW.
